Midas

This midas is awful me and my fiancé went in to have the battery changed in my cadillac… Simple right… Oh no not here we sat in this place for almost 2 hours before the «manager» decided to tell us he was waiting for a part from NAPA for our car, info he never volunteered while we sat and waited and at one point we even walked somewhere to eat lunch when we arrived at 9:45am. Please do not waste your time or money here, 2 hours of wasted time for a battery and a manager with no customer service skills. If I could give them negitive stars I would cause they don’t deserve the one I had to add just to write this review.

I recently found myself in Tucson and SEVERAL miles overdue for my oil change… Stopped in as soon as the place opened and everything was handled pretty swiftly. During inspection, they «discovered» (and I use that word playfully because I was WELL aware that it was BEYOND time…) that I needed new front brakes. The quote I got was comparable to some research (must always have a mechanic on speed dial) and was WAY less than some OTHER places have quoted *coughs «Brake Masters is CRAZY”* so I opted to go ahead considering I was riding (shall I say STOPPING) on a prayer every time I touched my brakes… and I KNEW it… I was fortunate enough to be able to drop my car off early in the day, so I can’t speak to how LONG everything took officially, but I will say that Danny (he’s AWESOME) called me within the first 2 hours of me dropping my car off to update me on the job being finished.
.When I went back to pay, I was told they had done some maintenance on my back brakes as well at no charge… Danny also helped me to find some DISCOUNTS for my services… He was friendly and much more personable than people I’ve encountered at other maintenance places.
I feel comfortable with the idea of taking my car BACK for routine maintenance based on my experience there.
Things to consider:
I was able to drop my car off fairly early, so I can’t speak to wait time on a given day.
My interaction was with Danny
I didn’t feel like I was getting the run around for being a woman *rolls eyes* getting her car serviced.
All in all, I’d definitely go back… and won’t hesitate to update you on my future interactions. :)

I cannot believe this store has such a low Unilocal rating. I’ve been going to Midas for years and they’ve always done excellent service on my car. This store especially has been friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about anything I’ve needed done on my car. They were nice enough to find a warranty repair, and even called my dealer to schedule my appointment. They don’t have to go out of their way to do that, but they’re good guys (especially Danny, the manager.) Just sitting in the waiting room I’ve heard ridiculous customer complaints, as if Midas owes them every repair and fee for free! It’s a business, like everywhere else, and they need to charge a fair price for parts and labor, like EVERY OTHER BUSINESS in the world! Get real, people!

They dont even deserve a star. The employees are rude. Espeically Danny. He hung up on me as i was asking questions. They dont have water for customers. They give you the run around. Tell you to come in and make u wait and then to come back. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. I wouldnt go there ever again. I do not recommend them at all.

Needed an oil change and tire rotation. Called this place at 7:30 am and the guy told me I did not need an appointment and to come in at any time. I arrived at 10 am and was informed of a 90 minute wait. I again asked for an appointment and the guy told me to return at 1 pm. I returned at 1 pm, and the guy then told me that he could do the oil change but not the title rotation, because all his lifts were full. I again asked if I could make an appointment, and then he gave some BS line about not being able to tell walk-​ins that they might have to wait for previously scheduled appointments. Seriously!!! Then why can I make an appointment for a dinner table, a haircut, or a REAL mechanic??? And it would’ve been helpful if he would have told me that at 7:30 am and at 10 am, instead of giving me the run around and making me waste half my day.
