LOVE THIS PLACE! Jeff and his team have always gone out of their way to help me as I get back into road cycling. Rather than charge for a precision fit as most bike shops would, Jeff offered a complimentary fitting since I was considering changes to some of the components (and ultimately did make some changes at Jeff’s suggestion). He and his staff have always suggested the products that would be ideal for me, even if they’re not the highest margin items they have to offer. You’ll find integrity and whole lot of quality high-​end bicycles and components at Miles Ahead Cyclery. Go see the latest from Bianchi, Colnago, and De Rosa. I highly recommend this shop.

I’m a big fan of this shop ever since I moved back to Tucson. Geoff and his staff are super-​friendly and have consistently been available anytime I’ve called to do a bring my bike in for a tune-​up. They also are experts at doing bike fittings and assembling parts to a custom made bike. They sell some of the best road bikes on the market including Cannondales, Cervelos, and Look. Also be sure to check our their stock around July each year as they do heavy discounts on out-​going models for the year — you can get a great deal if you’re looking to hit the epic Tucson roads and paths!

So we’re on the hunt for a new LBS (Local Bike Shop). After too many mess-​ups and bad service at our original shop we decided to branch out and after numerous repeat recommndations, Miles Ahead was our first stop.
My husband’s bike was having some serious dérailleur issues and it needed to be re-​cabled so we stopped in to Miles Ahead and they were so quick to diagnose and get us taken care of. We dropped it off and he came home with two new tires, a re-​cabled bike and some new tubes.
Minus one star because he didn’t even get one mile away from the house and he got a flat! What? We’re chalking this up to a bad tube, it happens to the best of us, but it was still a bummer. Their service was top-​notch and I’ll be bringing my bike in to get a thorough tune-​up before my big race!

A great example of a top-​notch bike shop for roadies. After riding a 30 pound Huffy 626 that was older than I am through college, I came here to look for my next two-​wheeled investment. Jeff was amazing and dealt with me for weeks while I wrestled with the decision. He gave me access to the bikes in the shop for test rides and really let me fell out what I wanted. He never pressured me, but still made sure I had all the information I needed to make the decision.
Once I chose the bike, the complimentary fitting was great and I left with an invite to join them for a shop ride anytime. I did, and was impressed by the welcome I received.
The other day, after a year of loving the bike (without it giving me any issues), an unfortunate meeting between my bike and a garage door required some major repairs. Again, the team at miles ahead was amazing and didn’t charge me for labor since I bought the bike there. And I got a shop discount on the parts do I didn’t have to search amazon or shop around. They had me back on the road within a week, and it didn’t break the bank.
A good shop with a great staff! It’s a little pricey, but you’re paying for quality equipment and experience.
