Upon entering Panda Express, it was very busy. There was no greeting upon arriving. I had three separate orders on one check. The first order was asked for white rice, and we were given fried rice. The second order we asked for spring rolls which were completely forgotten and it seemed like a bother to be reminded after being handed our food. THe third order included another order of spring rolls(again, seemed like a bother) and asked for Teriyaki sauce which seemed like even more of a bother and were snapped at to give them a minute. Originally we were going to eat there, but all the tables that were unoccupied were dirty(more than just wiping crumbs from the table). Very dissatisfied.

I’ve always enjoyed Panda Express. Sometimes you’re at a good location, sometimes you end up walking out… But this location has been consistently pretty good. The food usually hasn’t been sitting around for that long and the staff is courteous.

for fast food this place is a good choice. I really like the chicken teriyaki among a few others. their chili sauce if you’re like spicy is very intense but also flavourful. the orange chicken is better than Chinese restaurant versions of the same dish.

My first and last visit to a China Express chain. What a complete rip off! All rice, 4 tiny pieces of beef and a couple pieces of broccoli! I want my money back! I’m so bummed, I had heard from my physical therapist how great your place was. I really wish I had gone to Five Guys next door. Portions of this size make people feel ripped off. Nothing more to say, it wasn’t even great. Now I need to get some food from somewhere else to go with all of this rice!

Second time I have visited this location. Second time there are NO food entrees for customers. They are always out of everything, and I mean everything. A line of people and the only thing they have available is Orange Chicken and Vegetables! The ding-bat asked me what I would like, and I said«I guess I’ll have just a bowl because you dont have anything out». There were 9 empty pans. She said, «Oh we will cook something up for you in 10 – 15 minutes». I told her I dont have the time to stand around and wait. So because they are so limited at this location, I got hardly any Orange Chicken. They punish the customers and ration the only entrée available. Basically, a bowl full of rice. That’s what they consider service at this place. If you can, try another Panda Express location. This is the only one that pull this crap. There were 4 other people behind me that were pissed. 1 walked out. It was not worth the $ 5.80 I paid. No manager in sight overseeing things, while the cooks are just dragging their rear-ends in the back. Again! Tucson work ethics and attitude! Everyone has a «Who gives a darn attitude».

Meh, is the best description I have for this Panda Express. I normally like Panda Express. Again, it’s not the best Chinese food, but it’s fast food so you can’t expect five star Chinese food. I absolutely hate the quality of the food here. When, and that’s a big when, you get the food fresh it’s good, but recently I have been getting the scraps. The orange chicken I got last time was old and it was hard. It must have been sitting there a long time. The workers there are not friendly and the place can be kind of dirty sometimes. If you want Chinese food, check out Pei Wei’s. A little more pricey, but worth the extra cost.

First of all, I don’t like panda express to begin with. I just have a picky husband and sometimes I give in. That being said, I don’t know why we keep coming back to this location. EVERY time we’re here, they’re out of half their food and backed up on their orders(express?), and EVERY time the workers are rude as f***. This time was no exception, other than a lady named JOJO being exceptionally rude. I actually think I may have never seen someone talk to customers the way she talked to us and every other customer. The eye rolling and passive aggressive sarcastic attitude she gave us? I always feels petty complaining about workers attitudes, but trust me she was acting like a straight up b**** to everyone. If we weren’t exhausted and starving, we would’ve walked right out after dealing with her at the register. The cooks and other server were hard at work trying to catch up, but she was like hey instead of contributing I’m gonna ruin everyone’s day with s***** attitude.

This is fast Chinese food. I’m not expecting miracles from these guys. Whenever I have come in here the food has been consistent and I think that’s the best thing you can ask from a joint like this. Good portions too. Good enough on a day when I want to binge on chow mein and teriyaki chicken.

For along time I carried around the idea that PE had awful Chinese food. First I’ve eaten a lot of incredibly good Chinese food(not in Tucson) and the standard is high. I cannot remember when I first ate at PE but I distinctly recall the last time I did it was yesterday. I am pretty sure I remember the last time I will ever eat at Panda Express. Last year I took my grandkids to a UA game and we stopped at the SU to eat and they wanted PE and it was a sodden, oily, tasteless mess. But being the optimist I am, I recall that one of my grandsons said he liked PE and so did his friends, and a few weeks ago I was looking to take out something and instead of a pizza I was next to a PE and thought I’d give it a try. I don’t remember what I had but it seemed passable, so I tried again, yesterday. Now let me say the service was good, they smiled and were polite and accurate and helpful. So hooray for the staff. I ordered chow mein, Sesame Honey Chicken(the server said it was delicious) and Beijing Beef. I was looking for contrast. Bite. Flavor. I should have known better than to go into fast food place at 2:30 pm because the food is always going to be lunch crowd cold leftovers. I was not disappointed, all the food was barely warmed. The chow mein did not taste awful. That is how they got up to zero stars. Unilocal won’t let me give them zero stars however. The thing about the chicken and the beef is that if I had closed my eyes I could not have told the difference. Both were tasteless, and lacking in texture. No crisp coating, no juicy soft beefy flavors, no flavors at all except sugar and oil. Literally tasteless, but not sodden, just indistinct texture. Did I really need to spend $ 7.12 and to find that out. Stupid me. I could have eaten at a doze other places within three blocks… and I should have. Bye PE, never again.

The food at this location is prepared far better, not to mention quicker, than other locations. I walked in at lunch time and was out with my food in mere minutes – now that’s fast food! So glad to have a Panda so near to home. Could take or leave the college crowd and dirty looks from those at the fro-yo place next door, but it comes with the territory, right?!

Stopped in for a quick dinner on a whim. Ended up getting a two-entrée plate with steamed veggies as a side. While the staff was nice, I wasn’t notified until after my transaction was processed that I’d be waiting for the veggies(or how long they’d take before they were ready). I wasn’t in a huge rush, but a time quote would have been helpful and convenient.(To their credit, it only took 4 – 5 minutes before I had my food– the staff was mostly friendly, too, although the one who greeted me seemed eager to pass me off to another employee to have the rest of my order taken). I’ve been to several Panda Expresses around town– the Swan/Grant location is the best in terms of quality of food and friendliness of staff, followed by the El Con location, then this one. I’m not saying I had a bad experience here by any means, however, this location still has a few things to iron out(mainly relating to customer service) in order to earn another star or two. That said, I’d still come here again.(And if you do happen to stop by with extra time, make sure to drag yourself into Yogurtland next door for some top-notch froyo!)

I have already sinned for not eating locally, but with the volume of emails offering free entrees today, I decided to stop by a closer to home location. Unfortunately, their website and online listings have the wrong hours. As the doors were open and a person was walking out, I figured they were open, only to find out that as I was not picking up or placing a catering order, I had to leave. Never mind the fact that the steam trays were full of food, I’d have to wait half an hour to dig in to stale, lukewarm orange chicken and chow mein. This location has had several issues with me in the past. From rude managers who should not be working the line, to serving sub par options compared to company standards, I will never give this Panda another chance. If you want a great PX experience, go to Swan and Grant. Their manager and staff are some of the nicest I’ve met in quickserve.

If you want fast food Chinese with American influence, this is a decent place to go. Conveniently located at Campbell and Glenn in the Albertson’s plaza, this is a new facility and serves it up pretty fast. I went in for their free give away of Sesame Honey Chicken for that day only. It was pretty tasty. I see that they no longer offer one of my favorites, the eggplant and tofu. Too bad. I’ve had some of their other entrées before, like orange chicken, beef broccoli, Kung Pao chicken, etc. All decent. Prices seem reasonable, too. For fast food and for what you are getting, I think that no one feels any sticker shock. They move you in and they move you out. Good, quick alternative to a burger or Taco Bell.
