The lo main with beef and vegetable was delicious. The egg rolls weren’t that great. I loved the sesame chicken. And I’m pretty picky with sesame chicken.

Their chicken phở can save your life when you have a cold or upset stomach. I drive the 20 miles and it works every time. The large is almost too much to eat. Lots of chicken, noodles, delicious broth, and fresh vegetables. I’ve had phở in Honolulu at what Vietnamese there say is the best restaurant. Phở Saigon in Tucson rates right up there with it. The rest on the menu is great and the staff treats you like you really matter. Proximity to the cineplex makes it ideal to go to early, have a great meal, and then watch a movie without having to pay crazy prices for terrible and unhealthy theater food. Oh, and contrary to another review, I find all portions more than adequate for any normal size human being.

House Phở excellent choice. Small bowl plenty of food. Good amount of meat in dish. Ice tea is refreshing.

Phở was very flavorless, service was pretty terrible. The one waitress there was a bit rude and abrupt. As a personal preference, I would rather get lime for my soup than lemon, and they had lemon. Asked if they had rice wine vinegar or even just plain vinegar and she said no practically without even listening to what I had to say. I suspect she just didn’t even want to find out. The lemonade tasted like lemon cleaner diluted with water, and the fish sauce that came as dipping sauce with the egg rolls tasted off.

This place is the only place on the south side, so I frequent it tremendiously. Phở is usually good, they don’t filter the broth very well, it’s very oily. Spring rolls are too small for the price, avoid them, they also put mint in them. No reciept with cash transaction is something I found very odd. 1 $ transaction on all cards, I was told he had to renegotiate some contract with the card companies. Overall, it’s a good last resort for phở, definitely not the best. Management needs some work.

Only OK. We often eat at Vietnamese Restaurants and this was mediocre at best. My husband’s order was limited, small serving, few veggies added. My bun had a skimpy amount of shrimp added. It was a quick and easy meal, but we would not return. Inexpensive restaurant located in a strip mall.

I’ve been here a few times and usually order shrimp phở. They are skimpy on the shrimp, my friend asked for«extra» shrimp and received 3 more for $ 1.50, hardly worth it. Last time I ordered chicken curry at lunch and could barely taste the curry and there were more little corn cobs than chicken… really disappointed. Mentioned it to the gentleman(manager?) And he said that’s just how they make it. Maybe I’m used to Thai chicken curry because this dish lacked flavor, spice and chicken. Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

I would give this location a solid three If the waitress wasn’t so rude. She seemed fairly annoyed to be working there. Other than having your eyes rolled at you the phở was great! The place was clean. Would rather go to another location.

First time here and the food tasted good. My husband ordered a B4 and I ordered the P1. Was disappointed in the serving size. Considering the cost was like $ 10 each. The service sucked. The server forgot my veggies to go with my meal and when I asked her about them. She was like oh I forgot. Do you still want them? Mind you I was pretty much done with my bowl. Not once did she check up on us. Not only that she didn’t even apologize for forgetting my veggies. They need more servers that’s for sure. Not sure if I’ll return again.

So I decided to check this place out after a great experience at miss Saigon on Campbell. I live in the area and I love phở. Miss Saigon is a bit far when I need a phở fix. So anyway we decided to try this place out. I must say I did enjoy the food it is really good I had the phở and my wife had some lo mein dish. The price was very fair. I am a chef in the local area and i can critique to the fullest, but it makes for a better experience. My only issue was they should give you a little more items on the plate for an appetizer. all I got was 3 egg rolls on a plate with the sauce and a sprig of cilantro garnish. Miss Saigon, gives a bit of rice noodle, and Iceberg lettuce, which costs nothing. Like I said its ok. But if you want to keep your customers coming back give them something just a bit more substantial. I had the bobo drinks, honestly not very impressed, they had few flavors, and what we had was a little iced down. If I could suggest having more flavors availiable My food was great. I will come back time and time again, especially since it’s closer to me. The other thing, they had Christian music on blast. I love it. I thing its awesome you are bold enough to stand for something and play it at your business. You will be blessed for it. So if you are on the southwest side of town and craving the phở, check this place out you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Phở Saigon for dinner I loved it. I will be back again.

I love phở and I used to eat at Miss Saigon multiple times a week even in the summer as a UA student. Now I work on the south side and we finally have some phở! This place just opened and it is decent but it needs some improving. There’s not much selection, no Mi Tom Cua, and the ambiance leaves much to be desired… For example the last time I went I had to listen to Christian music the entire time which messed up my phở eating ritual.

Us south and southwest side folks get very excited when we get new restaurants in the area. Often, it feels like we are the forgotten Tucson region. This restaurant is located next to a massive Harkins movie theater — ideal location due to the proximity to a very popular area movie theater. The restaurant is shotgun style. Relatively small, and with a seating capacity of probably 40 people. Nice, casual décor. Unpretentious. Very comfortable. But something is awry here. The concern rests entirely with the food. Some of the other reviewers are spot on: the price-to-quantity/quality ratio is terribly skewed here. It’s not just that these are small servings — and, goodness me, they are! It’s that you were given the very distinct feeling that you are being robbed. There are a couple of Tucson area Vietnamese restaurants I am quite fond of. Specifically Miss Saigon, Saigon Phở and Phở 88. Well, this is an adorable location with very swift and attentive service — kudos to the staff here! — the food is underwhelming. I enjoy phở, but bun, spring rolls and Vietnamese sandwiches are often my most favorite menu items. For $ 10 I was expecting a similar experience as some of the other Vietnamese restaurants I have visited in Arizona, California and Washington state. Nope. Spring rolls were very small. Served in a pair, they amounted to the size of one standard size spring roll — but it cost $ 5. The banh mi, which is also nearly $ 5, fit neatly in the palm of my hand. Not even joking about the teensy-weensy nature of the servings. Unusually overpriced for what you’re getting. I would’ve preferred to have paid $ 6 for the entire lot. And where is the flavor?! The spring rolls were slightly dry, and the bread for the sandwich didn’t seem fresh at all. It seem like it came prepared to the restaurant, instead of baked on site. Nothing had the nice, rounded flavor you tend to find at Vietnamese restaurants. The sandwich was especially disappointing. No booming flavor from slices of cilantro or jalapeño, shavings of carrots. The flavor was just… so flat. So, no, not yet a fan. But I’ll likely give them another try.

You NEED to try a Phở Dac Biet Bowl of Soup. It’s AMAZING! The Broth is Super Good!!! Los Angeles style. Spring rolls are a great light choice for an appetizer. Best and only Vietnamese restaurant on the southwest side of tucson. You will not be disappointed. Came in 10 minutes before closing time and was still graciously welcomed to dine-in. Really nice people. Quick and clean.

Tiniest spring rolls I’ve ever ordered, two for $ 5. Had the beef Phở. It was slightly sweet as someone else mentioned but tasty. The noodles need some upgrading. Mine took a while to break up and were a bit mushy. They fell apart easily and broke up into several small pieces, making it a struggle to eat with chopsticks. Atmosphere is average but the tables and chairs are like a cheap pizza parlor. The staff was very nice though. Price is not great, as much if not slightly more than just about every other Vietnamese place in town. But they just opened so I have high hopes for improvement. It’s the only Viatnamese place this side of town so I welcome them with open arms.

To Go order: I got #C2 Com Thit Nuong Jasmine rice with pork or beef. Although I feel they don’t give you much food for the price it was VERY flavorful. The meat had a wonderful lemongrass flavor and the fish sauce accompanying the meal was nicely flavored with chilis and maybe some citrus of some sort(there was pulp). And they garnished with a couple slices of tomato and cucumber and delicious pickled carrot and radish shreds. Since this was«to go» I can’t rate the actual restaurant or service per say but I did notice some things were left out on the back counter behind the register for the Boba and drinks, which means they were exposed to stuff flying around in the air… including the bucket of ice for the drinks which had no cover, just a napkin wrapped around the handle of the scoop which was left inside the bucket… But other than that the restaurant looked clean inside.
