I can’t describe this place, at first I was so impressed by the pedicure it was so relaxing and she did a great job and I was thinking I will leave a good tip and her, and this will be my regular spa. when I started with the manicure it was a disaster she cut my finger open and started bleed and it was a big cut after apologizing she continued and cut the next finger at that point I couldn’t handle the paint that I fainted and couldn’t finish, she was surprised and didn’t know what to do she didn’t even gave me water to drink I asked for it. on top of that I payed full price I wasn’t able to negotiate because everything was white so I left to my car left my legs and had some water so I can drive home safely. And now I’m hoping I won’t get infections.

Freshly-manicured hands down, one of the best experiences ever at a locally-run nail salon. As of December 25, 2013 this place is under new management and will be renamed«Lovely Nails». I’d never been here when it was«Pisa Nails», but apparently the previous owners just sold the business and took off without telling any of their clients. When I arrived, the new owner was greeting stunned clients of the previous owners. Apparently, the clients had appointments with the old owners, who’d neglected to tell them about the ownership change. «Kim» — and I may be wrong about her name, as I was enveloped in an aura of lovely nailness my entire time there — is the owner and only person working when I visited the weekend before New Year’s. For $ 25.00(plus a 30% off limited-time introductory offer) — one can get a 45-minute pedicure complete with salt scrub leg massage and wailing about the Tucson heat in broken Vietnamese-English.(The heat in Tucson — unlike gun control, doing away with American-branded cars and straw cowboy hats — is generally a safe topic to discuss with any random stranger in Tucson.) Kim doesn’t push your cuticles as far back as Alaska like some less expensive nail salons, but she is very fastidious about everything else, and doesn’t gloop the nail polish all over the place, then try to clean it up with nail polish remover. As I was the only one there, we chatted(while she pedicured) for quite a while, till another client came in, and I told her 5+ minutes of massage on my right leg was quite enough, thank you very much. When I visited, workers were putting finishing touches on the décor, but were very discrete and quite about it. And, if you’re not convinced by my review, as the client before me(a customer of the previous owners) exited the nail salon, she told me under her breath, «She’s really goooood. You’ll be so pleased!» And I am.

My nail job was good. Yet it was rushed with a 2 minute each arm massage with the manicure? They said the prices reflect their service? I didn’t have to go back to work, I wasn’t in a hurry. I want someone to rub my arms n legs during my Mani/Pedi so much that when I get out of chair I stagger. The $ 15.00 gel is only to apply the gel. A manicure? well that’s extra…

So, my regular nail gal is out of the country for at least a month so I decided to check out another salon that had nice reviews on Unilocal — and I’m glad I did. Kevin is wonderful and the prices can’t be beat! He did a fill job on pink/whites and we changed the nails to color and covered the pink/white and they look amazing! …and the best part? Only $ 15.00!!! The salon appears to be clean and on the day I was there it was not terribly busy, so we were able to talk and he took his time, not being rushed by others waiting. His wife also works there and was doing a pedi during my visit. I will definitely go back!

I wasn’t impressed. I called and asked to come in for a wax. The man said yes and I told him I could be there in 20 min. When I get there his wife looks surprised and asked if I called ahead, I told her yes and she said I would have a 10 min wait. There were no other customers. When she finished I noticed she left quite a few stray hairs. I was not happy. Salon has cheap prices but I guess you get what you pay for.

Gells for $ 15, the owner did a great job on my nails and at a great price. Glad I chanced it since I wasn’t sure. I’ll definitely be returning for upkeep on my nails. It’s nice to find a good affordable little gem close to my home.

This is a husband and wife salon. It’s a quaint little place, but the best pedi/mani I’ve had in Tucson for a really reasonable price. I often walk away from salons despising how they’ve filed my natural nails. He did them perfectly!

15 dollars for gel is a great deal. The pedicure was on 25. This is a small and intimate nail salon. I will be back.

The service was very fast and the man that did my nails was quite personable. The style of nails they do in Arizona is different from what I’m used to in California, but they were cheap and my tech made sure to give me options rather than hustle me.
