I stopped by during a 2nd Saturday walk and was very impressed by Diaz’s work. Love it! From large pieces to a painted guitar to earrings — there is something for everyone! Very interesting stuff, definitely worth taking a look. The art is a bit Dia de las Muertos and a bit mythical with some attitude thrown in. Beautiful and innovative! And I disagree with the $$$$ rating, there are items that are affordable like earrings or cards. It’s an art gallery, compared to other art galleries, it’s hardly the most expensive.

Beautiful art. It’s very different from most galleries you will see around here. But it’s super expensive. So it’s really only for the diehard art collectors. They do have some events in their space during 2nd Saturdays and All Souls Procession.

Love it! Unique art gallery in Tucson! If you like detailed, creative, somewhat morbid art, stop by and check it out! If you can’t afford the original art pieces, there is a small gift shop towards the back of the store for tiny replicas, t-shirts, and books. 2nd Saturdays Downtown is a great time to see this place.

Wild finds can be made here. I have several pieces lining a few rooms within my home. Take your time and enjoy the array of work.

We visited here during 2nd Saturdays Downtown. It was pretty awesome. The DJ they had playing during the event really help set the tone, the music went with the artwork perfectly. While this isn’t the artwork I’d want in my house, it’s amazing to look at. Plus I can’t afford it, so that’s probably a good thing. But back to the art itself. There is so much detail. In the back room they had a picture of one of the pieces taken with a microscope which was really cool. Visit, especially if you’re downtown for 2nd Saturdays.

BYFAR one of the most epic art galleries I’ve ever encountered. A friend of ours took us since he is friends with Daniel Martin Diaz and his wife Paula, as well as being the proud owner of Daniel’s art. Certainly not something I would purchase for my own home… well maybe some day, but in all honesty I could probably stay in that gallery for well over 3 or 4 hours just looking at the intricate details of Daniel’s work and soaking in the sounds of the ambient mood music that is completely perfect atmospherically! I would love to be inside that man’s head while he’s creating one of these masterpieces. I’ll be honest with you, some of you could possibly find some of the art disturbing, especially if you’re well educated in either Christianity or the occult, but nonetheless absolutely fascinating!!! Daniel has done album covers for artists like Good Charlotte and P.O.D and his beautiful work also graces the walls of one of our favorite Tucson eateries, Café Poca Cosa. Whatever you do, take the time to stop in and look for a while. You’ll be pleasantly surprised! While you’re there say hello to his wife Paula who is one of the masterminds behind the amazingly beautiful local band Blind Divine, who specialize in «trip-hop or hypnotic rock». You can purchase their albums at the gallery along with other trinkets. Paula has set up the gallery in a beautiful display that includes other like-minded, talented artists from around the country. If you haven’t been, GO!

A beautiful gallery. And thank goodness its located in downtown Tucson! The art may be pricey but its free to look. And its worth looking at. Daniel Martin Diaz is an amazing artist. Plus the gallery brings in great art from other artist around world. You can also purchase Blind Divine albums there. Daniel and his wife Paulas band. A great local band that is worth looking into.

What a great gallery. One more reason I feel like downtown Tucson may still have a chance at becoming something that draws in the town. Even if it doesn’t, I’m pretty glad I get to know about these little gems. And what a gem it is! Daniel Martin Diaz is an incredible artist, and this place is chock full of his works. A little pricey for someone on my pay grade to ever afford, but that doesn’t stop me from looking. There’s also some works by other artists, some of whom are local. Some really neat stuff in a nice setting. For those like me who can’t afford the paintings, there’s books, cd’s, post cards, bags, etc. Really professional gallery in the heart of downtown. I’d give it 5 stars if it was open more often, or at least open when it is supposed to be! Still, worth the effort to get in the door.

My new favorite gallery in Tucson! The works of Daniel Martin Diaz(always on display and always fabulous) are featured, and their shows/exhibitions feature nationally known artists and wonderful pieces! What a gem in an otherwise dead downtown Tucson — this place reminds me a lot of La Luz De Jesus in Los Angeles, minus the kitsch factor.
