Safeway Delivery

What a great service. Once you figure out all the ins and outs of the app this is such a great service!!! My mom just has to be ready to open the door at the appointed hour… The driver brings the bags in and refuses a tip. What a great service for those who can no longer drive and walk the isles with ease.

Love the home delivery offered by Safeway, really helps me out immensely, being mobility handicapped. Been in Tucson about a year and a half and when I’m home alone and need groceries I order! Great selection on the regular things we use. The delivery staff are awesome and so very helpful, one delivery person even helped put groceries away for me on a very bad day! Was a Safeway patron many years ago in Nebraska, sad to see them leave the Omaha area! Like finding that friend that you lost contact with!

I just got my first Safeway delivery today, and it was amazing!
All I had to do was shop online (what girls doesn’t love that?), select a time for it to be delivered, and the next day, all of my groceries were at my doorstep! They were delivered by a very friendly man named Pete. They delivered all my stuff, including things like deoderant and paper towels.
The first delivery was free, so for no additional charge I got to get everything online, and have everything put on my kitchen table for me. No having to deal with the grocery store crowds, no having to load up the car in the lot and then unload everything once I get home. I realize these are not big tasks, but it was SO cool!
Also, I feel like this is going to help with budgeting and stuff. No impulse buys as I’m walking through the chips, no gum at the check out. I’m a big fan of having my groceries delivered to my home. Mainly, like I said, because it’s very cool.

I loathe the grocery store (except for Trader Joes, I love Trader Joes!) I hate all other grocery stores… However, I have discovered the Safeway delivery option… life changer. They have been absolutely on time and they show up with really good dispositions and I dont have to go to the grocery store OR starve… total win-​win.
