Shaky Bones

These guys were great when I saw/​listened to them while having cocktails at Downtown Kitchen. I dug the upbeat jazz/​blues/​funk they were pumpin out.

How is it that I haven’t written a review yet for one of my favorite bands in town! I met Connie and Shaky Bones a few years back, I lived in her building and she would send me email updates on where the Shakies were playing, but I worked too damn much, I never made it to a show. Flash forward a couple of years, I still work too damn much, BUUUUT I found a way to catch her tunes… combing her jams with my work events! They have acquired quite the following in town, and now Unilocalers ask me when they’re going to be at another event. Lucky for them, and me, Shaky Bones has a fairly longstanding gig with Downtown K + C. These guys are absolutely amazing at what they do. They have the ability to completely turn a room around and get the crown going. I’m a fan. A big one.

This band really gets you moving and shaking! I always enjoy seeing them play! All the members are wonderful musicians!
