I didn’t realize how awful this place was until I went to other dentists. Lister was the first dentist I had ever been to, and she and the other dentist at the office(not to mention the receptionist) were rude, condescending, and made no attempt to to show empathy or understanding for my situation. At a certain point, I had an infection that was unbearably painful, and Dr. Lister refused to give me anything stronger than ibuprofen — I ended up in the ER that night from the pain, where I got something that actually helped. Jose, the assistant, was the only person there who treated me with respect and care. I would not recommend this place to anyone who looks for kindness and respect in a dentist.

I was referred to Dr. Lister by a colleague and it has been a great experience. Her entire staff is very friendly from the front desk to the hygienists. Dr. Lister is great about explaining things. I recently had a cavity filled(shame on me), but she talked me through the entire procedure prior, which made the experience much more comfortable. She does a great job connecting with her patients and making sure they are comfortable. My good friend also sees her and only reports how great Dr. Lister is and how comfortable she is there. I will definitely be referring my friends and coworkers.

I visited Dr. Lister she found 12 Cavities, I went to Dr Welbom on Wilmot he said the good news is that you don’t have any cavities, I then went to Dr. George Alvarez at Corandalet and he told me there are no cavities, I requested to recheck it one more time if he could favor me and he did and explained to me with Xray why he believes I have no cavities. I have never slept without flossing since 1995 and always had regular dentist cleaning after 6 months, Dr. Lister became angry when I argued with her that I can not have so many cavities in just 6 months since the last checkup I did the dentist found so such issues. Beware of her she is not honest.

I visited Lister’s office last December to assess the damage and to get cavities filled. Their office took my insurance and made a dental plan to show me exactly how much I’d be paying. When I did the first round of cavities, she first said I wouldn’t need any pain relief however I did! She gave me the numbing shot 3 times and it still hurt bad enough to make me shake. I ended up going overseas for 6 months and when I get back I have 5 notices from a collection agency saying that I owe them nearly $ 300 because they miscalculated my insurance. They had my phone number(and during this time called me to remind me that of a teeth cleaning) and my email. This just makes me think that they are sloppy and unprofessional, although Lister and her staff were very friendly and it didn’t take long.

I’ve visited Dr. Lister’s office twice, first for a checkup and then a follow-up for some minor work. The entire staff was nothing but polite and friendly. In the chair, she’s remarkably efficient, and solicitous of your comfort. The only criticism I’d make is that the waiting room reading materials seems to consists solely of Entertainment Weekly and Marie Claire. That said, I’ve never had to wait long.
