I love this place! So many flavors to choose from, service is quick and it is clean in here. The shave ice they give you is massive! Even the smallest one is. Prices are reasonable. Even have lower calorie/​sugar options. Easily the best shaved ice in Tucson.

Best I have ever experienced. Place is perfect. Citrus Cooler is great. The Pina cold was even better. Just give it a try. No other place in town like it.

Best shave ice you can get in Tucson. And by shave ice I mean Hawaiian kine… We crave it for comfort food/​ice. Flavors are standard Tropical Sno flavors which are pretty good (mainland USA company) — what you can get on the mainland easily. Ice is packed and shaved fine. One problem is why aren’t they open on Sundays? I live almost an hour away and we drove all the way up to get shave ice and then saw they are closed. It was so sad. I didn’t check for hours online first because I guess I just assumed they’d be open on Sunday. Oh they sell Blue Bell ice cream here too!

The softest, fluffiest, melt-​in-​your-​mouth ice in Tucson! Its equivalent to Hawaii’s Waiola’s or Matsumotos without all the fancy bean fillings and condensed milk they offer on the islands BUT Shoobie’s does offer a scoop of vanilla ice cream for $ 1 more beneath all that ice! Get it because by the time you reach the end, the ice cream will have melted and mixed with the shaved ice and be so delicious.
They have over 20 flavors but since I was a child I always get a rainbow: blue, banana, and strawberry. I’m a traditionalist like that and boy was it great. transported me right back to the islands (SORTA).
I begged the owner to open one in midtown, closer to UA campus so that I didn’t have to drive all the way out to the NW!

Great service! They are very friendly and the ice is so good! We just fond out that it was here in Tucson about a month ago and have been there about 5 or 6 times since. It is so refreshing and delicious!

Better call first. On vacation so Googled it and it got 5 stars so thought we would give it a try. They were closed at 6:48pm on a Monday night. Their hours state open till 9:00pm.

Definitely worth a try, I’ve been many times after eating at el molinitos. They are always friendly, and the shaved ice is better than any snow cone I’ve had. My daughter has a summer birthday and I will definitely be pricing it out next year!

Just as everyone else has said, this place is the real deal!
The staff is always friendly and inviting, providing recommendations if need be. They have a ton of different flavors and give you SO much shaved ice that I always end up just ordering a small.
This isn’t just crunchy ice snow cone, it melts in your mouth! Delicious!

The real deal, reminds me of the shaved ice store from the North Shore. Awesome staff, perfect place to go on a hot day. Lots of flavors, get the spill stopper for an extra quarter. Whenever my family is in town, we will stop by EVERYDAY!!! They also do military discount, bonus!

I have been here twice. It has been great BOTH times. The ice is NOT like little pieces of crushed ice, it is TRULY SHAVED. They put alot of syrup on your ice and they even have spill protectors. The first time I went they gave me a card to keep so each time I go they will sign it and after so many I will get a FREE one. The ONLY negative is that they charge for the spill protectors, is only $.25 I think, but I feel it should be free. The best part is that they do offer military discounts and a lot of family owned places do not. The staff is very friendly.

OMG I cant believe I didnt come here sooner. A coworker told me about this place and its the BEST place to get SHAVED ICE. You can even add a scoop of ice cream to the bottom of your cup for $ 1 more. They have lots of different flavors and concotions. I tried the peach razzmatazz and it was delish. Check this place out for sure!!! Perfect for a hot Tucson day

This place brings me back to Hawaii!
This is not the snow-​cone style that you get some other places. The melt-​in-​your-​mouth texture is wonderfully smooth and refreshing. They have a nice selection of flavors, and some good combination recommendations. Generous portions, and they will make it like you want it.
The décor is very cute, brightly painted with lots of Hawaiian images. The staff (mother and daughter, when we were there) were friendly. The place is tiny! And it was packed when we got there; however, we waited less than 10 minutes to get our order. There was also some ice cream, but I was too focused on the shave ice to pay much notice.
It can be a little hard to find, tucked away in the Bookman’s strip mall. It’s right across from El Moinito. We will be back, and probably often!
