If you value your health, and the safety of your children, AVOIDTHISPLACEATALLCOSTS! I LOVE speed. Karts, motorcycles, cars, you name it, I’ll race it. At this place, there was a manager, some woman and man working there, and an EMT. The manager was busy with other things, and the woman, the man and the EMT were huddled in a corner talking and NOBODY was watching the track or the people on it. If they wanted to, with the elevation, they could have seen, ATMOST1⁄3 of the track. My girlfriend was concerned from the get-go, having been to plenty of tracks and being a kart enthusiast herself. It went on all morning that nobody was watching the track. Some kids went out for a session and STILL nobody was watching the track. This was amazing! One person on the track was being stupid and I told the manager. This guy was scaring some of the newer people there. The manager«talked to him» after he came in, went back out without nobody speaking with him, then was called back in and talked to. The manager came back and reported to me that«that’s _______. He’s always doing that,» and«he said he’s being safe.» After a short break we went back out and this guy was doing the same thing, only now he’s doing it EVERYCHANCEHEGOT! Like a petty child, to retaliate for being scolded. I told the manager AGAIN and he said«someone’s always complaining about him doing that.» That was it for me. There is NO safety there and a manager that gets NORESPECT from either his employees or the regular customers there and it’s driving business away. I had bought a shirt and returned it, but wasn’t reimbursed for the day, which I didn’t expect that I was going to be. With the flat out neglect I witnessed, it was worth it to not be in that hazardous situation anymore.

Évaluation du lieu : 2 Hood River, OR
I went here with a freind after he got a groupon for 3 races each at $ 55. The staff was freindly and the track was pretty nice(much larger than most kart tracks). The karts however were rather pathetic. There was a large performance differential between karts which took almost all the fun out of the experience. The karts were also woefully slow and had no driver adjustment(seat position etc…). Perhaps if they used the timing transponders it would make the races more fun. This place has alot of potential but it is not being utilized well at the moment. The standard price without a deal is rediculous, even when compared to places like Octane Raceway in Scottsdale. They do have shifter karts which are even more expensive to drive but much more fun. Hopefully the owners pick up the pace and turn this place into something fun! Note: bring water as there wasnt any to be found when we went.
