Supercuts

This location is really easy to book appointments with, and the wait is never very long. Marisa was my stylist and she was phenomenal. She’s the only one I’ve had in my experiences with many salons who didn’t complain about how much hair I have (it’s long and thick), and she knew just how to cut it so it didn’t immediately frizz out on me. I’ll definitely be coming back because the price is excellent and the quality is great.

So, you get what you pay for at Supercuts. Cheap, fast, not always great, mostly just average, haircuts. This location is no different. Sometimes they have really, really great stylists there, but they never seem to stick around too long. The current group of stylists seem to have been there for a few months now, and between myself and my husband, I think we’ve had each of them cut our hair. Mostly, I think we’ve had average experiences. I get rather run of the mill haircuts, which are more just trims. I like to get a lot cut off at once, and the stylists are always very timid of doing that. Understandably. People probably freak out if they get too much hair chopped off. I get it. But I usually walk out with my hair about an inch longer than I asked for, even after having them go around my head two or three times with the scissors. I get tired of asking, so I quit. Eh, no big deal.
During my last haircut, the girl yanked my cartilage earring four or five times. And every single yank, she promised that would be the last. But it wasn’t. It didn’t hurt at first, but I walked out a little sore.
My husband’s current haircut has been the only good one in the last four or five cuts he’s gotten there. He’s not really picky about his hair, so it doesn’t bother him, but he almost never gets the style he asks for. One time, he walked out of there with a buzz cut, which is not even close to what he wanted. He looked super goofy for a couple of weeks and actually got tired of his co-​workers asking him if he had enlisted in the military. No joke!
So why do we keep going back? Well, I’m lazy and cheap. Hair grows back. I’m not the type of woman that makes a fuss about my hair. And even though they’re not the best stylists, they’re all very nice. If you call ahead to get on the waiting list, there’s hardly ever a wait that’s more than five minutes. I’m just too busy for haircuts to devote more time to them.
They also do waxing and hair coloring here. I’ve seen a couple of women getting coloring done, and the stylist was being very meticulous and looked to be doing a good job.
So in summary, if you’re not picky about your hair, and/​or don’t mind average haircuts, then this Supercuts is probably just fine. If you want something fancy, then go elsewhere.

This place used to be really great. No matter what the luck of the draw, you would be assured in getting a decent haircut. No more! They either fired everybody or everyone quit. They got new people and they can’t do their job! I had to go back to get my hair evened up because they screwed it up the first time and the girl was rude! She and the other girl were talking and laughing about how she screwed up someone else. Plus they screwed up my sons cowlick so now it sticks up constantly. I won’t go back to this location.

If you don’t want to dish out the cash for an expensive hair cut, I’d recommend getting your hair cut by Derek. This was my first time into Supercuts, I walked in on a Friday afternoon for a hair cut. There was no wait which was a big relief to me because every time I go into cost cutters I have a 30 minute wait. The stylist that helped me was Derek. He was very professional, out going, witty and knew exactly what I wanted. He corrected my hair style with ease, I had several random layers that turned into a breakage mess when my hair grew out. He cut my hair to a medium length bob and styled it beautifully. I was very pleased to find a stylist at a walk in basis salon that was so helpful and skilled.
