Taco Bell

The food and service is like a game of chance at any place with the word «bell» or «taco» in it’s name. In this case, it has both.
I love Taco Bell, and have for YEARS. They kept me fat through college, so trust me, I know my way around a ½ pound bean and cheese with extra mild sauce…
This location has always been there when I needed it. Open late, perfect for U of A late nights.
Still trying to figure out where the Bell in Taco Bell comes from though.

This place is good just like any other Taco Bell is for late night munchies. But the only negative about this place is that a homeless man sleeps by the drive-​they window which scared the living day lights out of me.

Typical Taco Bell, though I find that sometimes they are out of stuff. I do not know if this is because they are close to campus and run out or if they just do not order enough product for supply and demand.

Since I’m always at the UA Campus, I tend to go to this Taco Bell frequently when I am working or studying at weird hours. I have to say, this is one of the better Taco Bells in Tucson. Staff is always great. Place always looks pretty clean.
I always ask for weird things on my order. Like, don’t put sour cream. Do put extra cheese. My fiancé hates onions, lettuce, and tomato, so that’s always fun for them to remove from certain foods. But that being said –they always do it! And they do it well! They are attention-​to-​detail oriented and I cannot complain.
Helpful: Unlike other places near UA where they want to limit how many sauces they give you (*cough* Chik-​fil-​a *cough*) they’re good about giving you a decent amount of sauce if you go through the drive thru. Also… one of the only Taco Bells in town where I can hear someone properly in the little drive thru box. That’s helpful.

Exquisite dining experience. I don’t think the silverware is REAL silver, though. However, our waiter was wonderful.

This TB spot was underwhelming. The wait was ridiculous and the food was subpar. I mean the chalupas were falling apart before I drove home. I hope that due to the college crowd it caters to, this location does not diminish its standards. I mean fast food is still food. It should be served properly and prepared well, 2 things I did not experience that day. I hope there is improvement in this speedway location or else I will be going to other nearby restaurants without hesitation!

For a Taco Bell that only deals with college students, this location does extremely well. Open late, consistently friendly to students, and pretty quick with the orders. Other reviews say they have problems getting sauce packets but I have not experienced that issue and have been here 100 times. Perfect for late night munchies. The one time I have had a problem here, I called corporate and they corrected it. No problems with this location.

They give you like 1 sauce pack per item in the drive thru. Even if you ask for extra sauce, which I have done because I love the «hot» taco sauce. Then if you ask for more after seeing two sauce packets in your bag, they roll their eyes at you and give you one more packet! This happens every time. It’s so annoying.

I love the authentic taste of Taco bell. Every time I take a bite an overwhelming sensation of euphoria takes hold.
I was leaving the University on bike and thought, I needed some REAL authentic Mexican food. When I arrived the doors were locked, but the drive through was open so I proceeded on bike. I ordered my food and biked to the first window. When they realized I was a «bicyclist», using the term as if I was some homeless, itching, drug addicted Tusconian, although that is much of Tucson people. I was not. They said «I will give you your food this time, but I better never see you come through the drive through on your BIKE, again.» Wait a minute Taco man, with your Taco authority. why is my money worthless? Are you bike RACIST? Schwinn is a race… Anyways, they were completely rude and almost denied me my YUMMY taco supreme, which tasted like a tire immersed in a turd.

It’s a typical Taco Bell, not bad, not great. The only thing I’ve had problems with here is them forgetting to put in the sauce, at all or the correct one. It’s not that hard to do and properly. It’s near the university so you can imagine this location tends to get busy.

I am very disappointed in this Taco Bell location considering that they claim to be very good.
I came to get a five dollar taco bell box or whatever they call it and I was very disappointed I personally don’t like Taco Bell to begin with there the worse fast food restaurant on the planet.
I has to go in there and get a burrito at this location on Speedway Campbell on the University of Arizona campus and I gave a burrito and every single one of my tacos is all over stuff with so much sour cream and two tacos and burritos look completely horrible! I don’t think that these restaurants realized out a lot of the secret shoppers do post up on Unilocal and then they wonder why that they never get good ratings on their secret shopper if you start taking more pride in your work especially the overnight shift horrible.

I am assuming that the 3 star rating for this location is not for their late night food or service. We’re night owls, so we frequent late night fast food places. Yes, I admit it. This Taco Bell is horrible after around 12 AM. Every order is always wrong. If they run out of something, they substitute something else without saying a word to the customer. I’ll list a few: Salsa instead of tomatoes, tomatoes instead of salsa, and ground beef instead of steak. To list more problems, taco salads have at least one ingredient left off, cheesy roll ups have onions or lettuce in them, quesadillas ordered with no sauce are drenched in it, and Mexican pizzas are uncut and smashed under the weight of an order for 4 shoved into one bag. We put up with this place for far too long because they were open late. We completed surveys, several times, and received no response, ever. We’ve called and complained to the manager on duty and received a «so what?» attitude. Late night, the employees simply do not care. The owner/​management apparently doesn’t care either. It appears as though this location is okay during the day, but my advice is to avoid it late at night.

This Taco Bell is quick and the order is always right. The staff is friendly as well, which says a lot for a fast food restaurant. I always use the drive through because I generally come here during lunch on a workday…

They certainly serve food here and you can eat it. Minor stomach issues if any at all. The food doesn’t taste bad it just is. Good Price.

Another great experience here. Today I stopped by on my walk home from work. Smiles all around from the ultra-​courteous staff. I was looking for the veggie cantina bowl on the menu and I couldn’t find it. They explained that the cantina option can come as either a burrito, or a bowl and that the menu just shows the burrito. Who’d a thunk it?
While I ate, the same gentleman who took my order washed tables and talked to customers. He even checked on me to see how I liked my bowl. Big thumbs up from the Shae Nae Nae. I sat at a bar-​like area and noticed that it had numerous electrical outlets — perfect for students who’d like to charge their laptop while here for a quick bite to eat. The store was very clean and well maintained. The walls are painted soothing desert landscape colors. You can see beautiful mountain vistas from the windows while you enjoy your meal. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience… and I’m someone who avoids eating in at fast food restaurants like the plague! Well done Taco Bell. Whether you visit the drive thru, or the dining-​room, this location is tops in my book. You’re in good hands.

The people are nice and it is clean enough but I asked for a 5-​Layer burrito without sour cream (because it makes me sick) and not only did it come with lots of sour cream but there was also lettuce in it, which does not even come in that burrito… they also put all the sour cream and meat at the top of the burrito and all the cheese and beans at the bottom so it was really awkward and separated. I mean, I get that its only like $ 2 and you get what you pay for but I think most other Taco Bells are better…

Other than the location this Taco Bell has no other perks. If you want Tacos made with love and care go to the one on Silverbell and Speedway. You will be amazed at how full your Chalupas are.
p. s. My Mexican pizzas are always sliced disproportionately.

This location is newly remodeled, clean, and right next to the U of A! Even when they are busy they are fast and friendly. It’s Taco Bell, yeah, but it’s a good one!

They staff is nice here, and the place was pretty clean when I walked in. Right near campus means some college kids, and a quick bite for us visiting for U of A events!
In the Brendan Frasier, Blast From The Past, chance you’ve never been to Taco Bell, I recommend the Mexican Pizza. It’s totally hideous, yet utterly delicious. I also enjoy a good double decker. Yea, contemporary spins on the old mexican fast food! :D

Decided to try the breakfast menu. 8:30 am. Place empty. LOVED THAT. Food arrived before I grabbed napkins. Mixed feelings on that.
Ham Egg & Cheese Burrito: Perfect, and a great value
Hash Browns: Garden variety fast food patty. Can’t go wrong
Cinnabon Delights: Dissapointing. Looked nothing like the picture, and way over priced. Signature Cinnabon flavor was obvious!
Service was fast & friendly. Overall good. Not worth getting up early for, though
