this place has the perfect blend between anthropologie style and H&M prices. all the items are homemade, mostly here in Tucson. the furniture is made by one of the owners & most of the knitted items are made by the other owner. [they are an adorable couple] i was so pleased to find this little hidden treasure & will be sure to reccomend them to all my friends!

I love this beautiful, thoughtful little shop. I’d recommend it to anyone who wanted a little something special for themselves or a friend. Jewelry, tiny paintings, knitting-covered antlers, handmade cards, tableware… much of it made by local artists. Check it out!

So. Freaking. Adorable. I just love kitsch, and Telegram is certainly that. Tons of awesome little trinkets, housewares, and homemade items. Plus there’s nothing better than supporting local artists. It’s so much more special to get something that’s one of a kind and handmade. I think it’s really great that the folks at Telegram hand select artists from Tucson and elsewhere in the Southwest to showcase. Everything in that store is so fantastic, I wish I could purchase everything! They have items for different tastes and even help support local businesses for discount to employees of 4th Avenue. They could tell I was a little short on the cash and helped to get me a bit of a discount. I don’t know that that’s common practice, but you can tell that the employees and owners really listen to their customers. The only reason I can’t give Telegram 5 stars is the website. I just wish more of it was hosted online! They have a little teaser on their Etsy site, but most stuff isn’t found online. I live all the way in Sahuarita, and I can’t always make it into the store to check out new stuff. They should really look to invest in the website, because I think it would bring in a lot of business!

I adore Tucson. I want it to be my pocket city. Instead, I will visit often and attempt to unearth captivating new favorites like this quirky little gallery. It’s run by a couple of cool cats named Liz and Travis who create much of the work in the shop. There are also loads of other treasures made by other locals that give it a flavor all its own. I can’t stop thinking about the crochet-covered horseshoes, and how yes, they made me feel lucky. There was a chair so gorgeous it made me want to pawn my car. I resisted though, mostly because I loathe the bus. One of these days though, I’ll make someone buy it for me.
