The Blind Guys

We had excellent service from show room visit, to sales gal and the Owner even came and installed the blinds for us because the installation staff had no openings but our blinds had come in.
We have had the blinds in for 2 months and I love them even more than when we ordered them.
If we need blinds in the future this is where we are going. They beat the big boxes hands down.

We have used Mike for shutters for four years. We’re getting ready to move into a brand new house, and he was the first call I made. We wouldn’t think of using anyone else for window coverings.
Mike and his wife go out of their way to make appointments when its convenient for you. And, they always show up on time and deliver as promised, which is not exactly common in Tucson. He’s always taken very good care of us.
I 100 percent recommend Mike at the Blind Guys. Wish more businesses in Tucson had his work ethic!

Mike went out of his way to make us happy. When the blind we received looked different than what we expected, he replaced it with a slight charge. He seemed very willing to help us and we only bought one shade. Would highly recommend The Blind Guys for anyone wanting window coverings. They came out, pre-​measured, ordered, installed, listened to our concerns, re-​ordered, re-​installed; all for one window. Am amazed at their service and would definitely recommend them.

Great product and great service. Read the negative review, obviously someone who never used Mike for services and is a nut. They truly are the most decent people we have ever had done work on our home. Have sent them to all my family and friends and all have been beyond happy.

Mike and Virginia from the Blind Guys were amazing. They made a special long distance trip to install my blinds. They told me they travel all the time for customers. The guy with the one star rating is incorrect. They have a beautiful showroom on Speedway and Swan. They don’t work out of their house like he says. Whatever goes on in their home and private lives is irrelevant to who they are as a business, which is what matters. They go out of their way to make sure they give good customer service and follow up with their customers. They are very experienced and fully supported by Hunter Douglas.

I dont know how anyone could give this vendor less than 5 stars — nor how one person claimed they operate out of a house — incredibly untrue. I had the best experience ever with Mike and his company and am totally happy with the products and his services. He PERSONALLY took us around his showroom (yes SHOWROOM not HOUSE!) and also came out to see our house and measure to give us an estimate. The estimate was close to another quote for an inferior product (from 3 Day Blinds) and when i asked if we could try to meet my budget he did all he could to satisfy my request. I also got a lot of freebie specials that he was running such as rebates on motorized blinds and free upgrades to the cords. He was very true to his word and communicated often via email and phone letting me know status of the delivery and installation — he and his worker showed up on time to install and we were thoroughly satisfied with the final product. The only issue i had was with the pricing he gave me he didnt want to use a credit card which i understand as credit card services can add about 3% to the vendor’s costs. Please dont believe some of the comments on this site — they are obviously from people who have an ax to grind on some other level.

This company is not a licensed contractor with the AZ Registrar. It should not be doing any work for $ 1000 or more. It has a show room in a house and it conducts business in a residential neighborhood, contrary to City Zoning laws.
It is surprising that Hunter Douglas would allow any of its contractors to do this.
The company owners also harass the neighbors with disturbances from construction noise, visiting customers, deliveries and obnoxious behavior by the owners, Michael and Virginia Levy.

Mike arrived at our home on time. It seemed as though he had the entire HUNTER DOUGLAS line with him. He had great product and design knowledge. He assisted us in deciding on coverings that met both our needs and were within our budget. Delivery and installation were as promised and on time. We purchased window coverings with a life time guarantee from a Company we will be very happy to recommend to our friends and family without reservation.

Totally zero integrity!!! Got a deal on Living Social, when Mike came out to measure, he sensed I was not interested in going for the whole house quote of $ 3,000 (that was after the $ 300 Living Social voucher). I told him that I would start out just one room at a time. I asked him to put in the order right away since he said it was going to be 2.5 weeks and I was moving into his house in 2 weeks and really needed some window coverings in the bedroom. So when I called to ask if they were in 2.5 weeks later, Mike said, «no, I never ordered them. You didn’t answer any of my emails (he sent none!) and you didn’t pay a deposit (he never asked for one!).» He then said he was going to be «out of town until the end of the week». When I texted him on Friday stating I wanted him to put in the order ASAP and let me know what I need to pay for deposit and to text me back right away. He texted me back on February 13^th «I’m out of town till March 5^th. I suggest you get your blinds from another outlet». A total lie, since I had a friend call to set up an estimate appointment and he wasn’t out of town. He just didn’t want to waste time on a job that was not lucrative enough. If he wasn’t so shifty and creepy during that initial appointment, I would have considered doing more business with him! So he is an unscrupulous, lying creep that I wouldn’t want to ever do business with anyway! BTW, Living Social gave my money back when I complained!!!

Outstanding product and customer service. We love our Hunter Douglas blinds and shutters. Professionally installed. Mike even came by one year after we purchased our blinds to show me how to take them down so I could paint. How is that for customer service! Thanks Again Mike

Very prompt to appt but you should be aware they are unable to install Hunter Douglas products to a brick/​cement wall if your windows is in such. Wish it was noted before I purchased the Living Social deal. Which was refunded. I did find other HD installers that said its extra work but can be done.

At my last home I had Whitney Burns put in shutters and though it cost a fortune I was really happy in all respects with the. I heard they went out f business so I tried the Blind Guys. Wow! This guy is great, your classic under promise over deliver. He is the number 1 Hunter Douglas distributor in Tucson. Shows up on time, great install which he does himself, very nice, showed us how the blinds worked. He met all of his dates and promises. I strongly urge you to use this person. What a great experience.
