I have visited Todd’s many times and enjoy their food most of time. But $ 12 for a 2 egg omelet and Potatoes it just too much. I took a friend and his young daughter there recently and there were a large number of flies. I spent a lot time keep them off my food. Also, my bill was around $ 50…for breakfast. Everyone there is really nice and their service is average. I feel bad because if they don’t step up their game they will be out of business soon when Jerry Bob’s opens on Ajo.

Visited twice while in the area and loved the food both times! First time I had the pulled pork sandwich which was great and the second time I had the monte cristo which I loved so much I would drive back there for! If we’re in the area again, we would definitely eat there again.

Visited Todds this morning after being told about it by my customers. I am gluten free, and was thrilled to see if could order pancakes! The menu lists the gluten free pancakes right in the middle, with waffles and all the rest of the breakfast plates. I ordered 2 for $ 6.00 and added eggs and potatoes, just in case the pancakes weren’t good. I am really happy to report that they were great. My hubby had regular pancakes and tasted mine also. He said they were great too. I ordered potatoes crispy and they were. Atmosphere is great, with a view of the airfield. While we were there a single engine plane landed and in walks 3 Phoenix Police officers, to order breakfast. There were a lot of regulars there too. We definitely will be back to try the lunch menu. They serve breakfast from 8 – 2 daily. They serve several items from native cactus and prickly pear as well as lima bean Chile, locally grown. Definitely worth the drive out Ajo Rd.

I wish I could them more stars! This is my favorite place! Best wait staff ever and his food is amazing! Love his wife she is so friendly to us when we come in. Gailee their daughter is an amazing artist and server! If they ever closed we would be devastated! Tip, don’t show up on a Sunday at 1:45! They close at 2:00pm. We seen this happen and the staff was still just as great as ever but that is just wrong. A+++++++

Friendliest service ever but the other Unilocal must be by regulars… The real lemonade was pretty good. I must say the draw for me was reading what other Unilocalers said about the pulled pork sandwich – nope… It’s a thumbs down. I asked for the bbq sauce on the side. The pork had an odd back flavor… Yes, the bbq sauce is tasty. Maybe it mask the true taste of the pork. I almost sent it back as being bad meat.(Probably would have if the service had been faster… I could not wait any longer)! It took over an hour to get the food… what? It was a scoop of pulled pork on a bun nada mas… And three slices of fruit as a side $ 9.00. We were not special here we overheard quite a few other comment on the long wait… There were 4 waitresses and a buss boy maybe 12 tables??? Don’t be fooled this spots a passer…

Food is great, 4 ½ stars. Staff is professional & helpful. Owner is amiable. Booths are a bit uncomfortable. Nice view of general aviation airport. I will return again.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me because everyone seems to like this place. I went here for breakfast and it was just okay to me. Tasted very standard… diner style, oily food. Portions were small for the price and it was so unappealing to me that I didn’t even take my leftovers home. Not worth coming out of your way for the food here. The only thing I did like was the view of the airfield. What a beautiful way to start off your morning.

My favorite place for breakfast when I’m in Tucson! Friendly service and a delicious menu make this a must stop destination. Sip your coffee while watching the planes take off and descend. I’m a fan of the eggs Benedict but the pancakes are almost better than my grandma’s!

One of the best breakfast spots in Tucson. Food is fantastic, staff is friendly and helpful. Hands down the best waffles in Tucson with the best home made whipped cream. Very quaint and relaxing atmosphere with a good view of Ryans airfield. They take an «Arizonan» spin to some of their dishes incorporating prickly pears and nopales into some of their dishes, and incorporate them very well at that. Love this place and I find myself coming back frequently.

Sleepy little restaurant that I stumbled into while waiting I pickup a friend. Justly had the club sandwich… But it was good and the service was friendly. Worth a look for a breakfast/lunch or if you’re a flyer, the proverbial $ 100 hamburger. Food came out crazy fast!

Expect a wait! Very popular spot, and for good reason! Food was excellent, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. Scratch made hash, light and fluffy waffles, and food cooked as ordered all made us smile. Todd makes sure that we are welcome by interacting with his customers, even refilling our coffee and sitting for a spell to chat with you. Definitely one of my favorite destination restaurants!

Todd’s is our favorite breakfast spot for many reasons, the main being that it is so convenient to us. We love how friendly and loving they are with our young son. They have toys, plastic silverware and an overall kid friendly attitude. Absolutely love their«not so Benedict»! Highly recommend their prickly pear BBQ sauce as well. The only downfall is that service can be slow, but knowing that going in helps.

We have been going to Todd’s for years and see it slowly going on a down turn. We went in for just sandwiches and after an hour wait, we just left. Maybe it was a good thing, because as we were waiting for our food we noticed how filthy the place is. The carpet is so dirty it looks like someone poured tar on the carpet. My sneakers were sticking to the floor. The wait staff area wasn’t any better. Disgusting filthy rags on the floor, ice machine has a leak and looks like they tried to repair with duct tape. I would hate to see what condition the coooking area is in. The health department needs to do an inspection there before anyone becomes very sick. Wish i could have given less than a one star.

Good as always. When I order my eggs ‘over medium’ I don’t want them runny. Todd gets them right! We’ll keep coming back.

Tucson is surrounded by cactus. It’s a shame to see that it’s not used as a resource more in restaurants to represent the regional cuisine. Todd’s celebrates the prickly pear with their Prickly Pear Eggs not so Benedict. The restaurant is located in a small airport and I discovered it via pilot friends who raved about the restaurants use of prickly pears. It’s a bit out of the way for most people but worth the drive! You pass by many cacti along the way and then you find yourself in a restaurant with big open windows. You can watch airport and desert activity all at once. I predict that one day Todd’s will be features on one of those Food Network shows, but until then enjoy this true«hidden gem» of Tucson.

BEST breakfast within a 50 mile radius… hahahaha! A bit out of the way but I was SO pleasantly surprised when my folks brought me here for the first time on a recent visit home. I can’t believe after living in Tucson for 20 years that I had never been. What a waste! I was impressed by the menu alone! Since I’m an eggs benedict aficionado I went for the Not So Benedict which was absolutely amazing! I love the addition of tomato and avocado to a traditional benedict. I held off on the prickly pear drizzle for the sake of sugar content. The hollandaise was spot on and the poached eggs weren’t quite perfect but it didn’t affect the final product at all. The portions are big but not too big and the benedicts can be ordered half-size or full-size which is nice depending on your appetite. As for the service, these are the sweetest servers on the planet! The girls are just downright friendly and warm which can really add to the ambiance of this place, which it did. This is just one of your down-home breakfast joints and TOTALLY worth the drive if you live in town. TRUSTME… GO!!!

A drive for most, but fortunately, not for us. Fast, friendly service and the food is pretty good. Waffle with fresh whipped cream and strawberries is AMAZING. Actually, now that I think about it, the waffle is good and the whipped cream is the item that is amazing. BBQ chicken and ribs were decent as was the BLT. Fresh fruit option($ 2.50) is pretty pricey for 3 strawberries and 2 orange slices but when you’re pretty much at the only place to eat in that area, it is hard to complain. Onion straws are kind of soggy and are not what everyone makes them out to be. Greatest thing about the place is the entertainment in watching the little planes land and take off. Well that, and the whipped cream.
