I’ve been seeing Dr. Tompkins for several years now and I’m very impressed by his attentive and kind manner. He never misses a beat with me and always does a fantastic job. I haven’t found many Christian doctors but he is and that’s a plus for me. He helped me through a very difficult time when my baby died. Also, he saved my Dad’s life by doing a very important screening exam. If he didn’t do that exam my father would no longer be here and that’s no lie. My husband had a rare scalp disease and he also helped us get through that and find someone who could help him. So for my family, he’s been a God-send and we are very thankful that he is our physician.

This is not a responsive practice or doctor. He is quite meek and seems to be a nice person, but when it comes to your health, that’s not a priority. I have been seeing Dr. Tompkins for about two years and mostly he stares at his laptop, which doesn’t seem to have that much correct information on it — random medications have been on my record(that I never took or even know what they are). In the latest episode, I am 37 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing a horrible sinus infection for three weeks. I went to see him four days after the symptoms began, he ran strep and mono tests that came back negative and told me it must be a virus, call if it isn’t done in 7 more days. I called and explained that not only is it not gone, I now have pain in my upper jaw and left side of my face. He then prescribed an antibiotic, saying I should finish it and contact him if it didn’t clear up by the time that was complete. I completed the antibiotic on a Sunday(still feeling awful and still pregnant) and called his office at 8am on the following Monday. I did not hear back from him until 9:00 that night and that was after my husband called twice to complain. I called Tuesday morning at 8am and he can’t see me until Thursday. Really?
