What can I say! Josh Silverman is one rude unprofessional man. I went in to look at and purchase a truck. Josh did not greet me or introduce himself when I came in. I was ignored. I asked about a truck and was handed keys and left alone. I went back into discuss the truck were I was not greeted again nor did Josh ask my name or any other information after discussing the price of the truck. I only know his name from the business card he gave me when I left. I DO NOT recommend anyone going to or buying anything from Tucson Auto Sales.

On June 2 2015 me and my friend went to tucson auto sales to look at one car that me and my fiancé we’re currently interested. Went into the building myself where my friend and I were not greeted by the lady up front who was literally not even 2 feet away from us. I had to speak up since I was invisible to them and ask about the car and she just said which one and handed me the keys to go out there myself. Their mechanic I believe was very kind and very helpful! When we went in for more information I was appalled by the way josh was treating the staff especially a elderly man in particular. His attitude towards them was very ungrateful and rude. He was very unprofessional and looked like he could careless since we look like kids. But I would never go back just because of the way he treated the staff. Even though this was a little while ago it still makes me very angry. Very bad experience and very shady. But props to their mechanic and the elderly man who tried their best to help. Those people make your place running.

Stop your used car search and call Tucson Auto Sales! In all my years of car buying I have never encountered a better used car dealer. After searching for over a week for the specific truck I wanted, I found it here. Not only was it in exceptional condition, but they stood by the vehicle after the sale and sent me [at their cost] the parts I needed to correct a few cosmetic issues. Josh had all the paperwork in order when I drove down from Chandler, and the transaction was completed in less than 30 minutes. His pre-​sale and after-​sale follow up was exceptional! Purchased a truck from them this weekend. We were in and out within 45 minutes, the gentlemen we worked with was great, helpful and kind. We love our truck and so glad that we stopped in while we were searching.

I’ve gotten two cars from Tucson Auto Sales and plan on getting a third sometime this year.
In 2009, I reached Josh and asked about purchasing a used Toyota Corolla. He said he didn’t have any on his lot but he would look around different auction sites and get back to me. I wasn’t in a hurry and gave him a week. He got back to me in two days with a used car, a repo, and I took it off the lot for two days. I got it checked out by our family’s mechanic at Jay Bee’s (on 22^nd Street) and the car got an excellent check-​up. Purchased the car and Josh was seriously the easiest person to work with compared to the gentleman we tried to work with at another location.
I feel like I got a decent price because two years later, I heard on NPR that Toyota products hardly lost value, even with all the problems they’ve had. I contacted Josh about this to talk about trade-​in and he agreed with the NPR story, that the Corollas were always the easiest to sell on his lot. He offered to take it off my hands but it was (is) such a great car, I’ve NEVER had to take it in for any problems.
I bought another car, a Toyota Highlander, last year, also a great, easy transaction.
For this car, Wwe went to several other dealerships before contacting Tucson Auto Sales. Josh offered us a price we couldn’t refuse.
I appreciate Josh’s no-​nonsense style. He didn’t make me listen to his life story or make me feel guilty for even considering other dealerships… my husband and I came in with a list of what we wanted and Josh helped us meet those requirements as quickly as possible. It was such a stress-​LESS transaction. I will never go with someone else for another vehicle, i highly recommend.
In fact, if any of my friends are interested in buying a car, i tell them to go shopping around and have fun, but to call Josh to get what he thinks would be a good price for a particular vehicle of interest. He works really hard to beat the price!

Look up the definition of a sleazy auto dealer and you will find Tucson Auto Sales & Brokerage. When I purchased my Toyota truck I did a Carfax on it– sadly, whatever accident/​repair that was done to the truck was not in the Carfax. When I took it to a mechanic the next day after buying it I discovered the truck had been wrecked so badly that it should not even be driven. Multiple damaged pieces that made it very dangerous.
I took it back and, thankfully (I thought) was able to trade it for another vehicle. I found a Toyota 4Runner which cost more. I couldn’t get them to talk down the price but I did have a mechanic look it over. They found little faults with it. So I took it off the lot. Found out soon enough it was a Canadian manufactured Toyota which meant getting a new key was near impossible (only in Canada), and had multiple problems: the starter was dying the moment I took it off the lot, it had a leaky moonroof.
It felt dishonest and sneaky and I would not recommend getting your car there. It also has a bad write up in the Tucson Weekly from a while back when they screwed some foreign guy with a car he bought. Shady! AVOID!
