This place is awesome! I came here with my friend who is a member and we shot 3 rounds of skeet. I just got a new shotgun so it was fun testing it out for the first time. This was my first time shooting skeet at an actual venue(usually we just go into the desert somewhere). There are TONS of slots for shooting and an actual range on the end of the row. Even the views from the range of the mountains were amazing. We did make the mistake of going to the International Skeet slot(not knowing the difference) but it was still fun — even with the launch delay. The staff and everyone there was extremely helpful and friendly which made it a great experience.

Good service and good equipment… the price is very reasonable… just for beginners that have not shot at a range before this place can be a little intimidating… no real signs of were to go to get started… and you have regulars that just sit there and watch you as you try to figure it out… but all in all I plan to go back a lot… great place to fine tune your skills

Tucson Trap and Shoot is awesome. They have updated/new fire arms and a huge and well kept facility. Zona is wonderful to work with and instructors(volunteers) are informative and wonderful! I recently brought a group of 25 to the facility for an event and everyone had a great time!

My friend and I stopped by Tuscon Trap and Skeet last week while on a road trip. We both had very little to no experience handling or shooting a gun. We wanted to try it out. Like others have said, we felt a little intimidated but decided to give it a try anyway. From the moment we stepped into their office, the staff were nothing but warm, helpful, kind, and completely accommodating to us. We watched a short video and when it came time to rent the guns, we were helped by the club owner, Tim Miles. He completely took care of us knowing that it was our first time… and on top of that gave us a big discount on the gun rentals. Jerry brought us out to the fields and basically taught us how to shoot a gun and then guided us on a complete introduction to the sport of trap and skeet. He coached us so well that we both shot quite a few birds throughout the day despite being beginners. He then gave us a tour of the facility and also took us out to the sporting clay fields and introduced us to that as well. It really felt like we were hanging out with family. Jerry was super awesome to us — if you’re a beginner and need some guidance I very highly recommend him. He was very patient, kind, and knowledgable. Both Tim and Jerry gave us names, websites, and recommendations of where to continue the sport after we returned to our hometowns. They really went above and beyond. The facility itself was well maintained and very easy to use. It was my first time shooting clays so I don’t have much to compare it to but I thought it seemed massive(it can accommodate over 200 RVs) and I do know that they hold a lot of competitions there and have held the selection for the Olympics there. If you’re an avid shooter you probably already know of this facility and how the whole process works… but as a beginner, we weren’t sure and their website wasn’t very clear at explaining it for someone that was completely new(it is aimed more at seasoned shooters). Basically if you just show up during their office hours they will be able to help you. I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in the area!

Ive always liked shotgun shooting over rifle or pistol due to the reactive targets, but found it difficult and intimidating to come to Tucson Trap and Skeet Club by myself. I came here this weekend with a coworker for my first rounds of skeet and did terribly but learned a lot for next time! This place is much closer than I assumed as it only took me about half an hour to get here from the Northwest side of town. The staff is friendly and the facilities are well maintained. I will definitely return for more skeet or to try out the other games.

Great experience, highly recommend! I had never held a gun in my life and was actually a bit nervous. Vern our instructor was so patient and taught me so much. I ended up actually hitting more than the average for a first timer. Can’t wait to try it again.

The Tucson Trap & Skeet Club is an Olympic Quality Shooting Facility. Not only does it have Trap and Skeet, but also has a sporting clays course on it’s huge location. This past year there was an event for Olympic level folks. We went for an afternoon to just watch. It was truly amazing to see competitors from places like Russia, France, Italy, etc walking around in their uniforms. All of this going on and most folks in Tucson have no idea… what a blast. Staff is always very helpful. If you are new to shooting chat with the folks in the office and they can set you up with an instructor. There are trap, skeet and other leagues that occur during the year. They have sign ups for individuals who are not on a squad and will place you on one. My son did one league not too long ago when he was on a college break and was placed on a squad and had a great time! Very highly recommended!

Best shotgun facility in Arizona. It’s beautiful, comfortable and well run. The sporting clays range is the best, and getting better all the time. Sure wish I lived in Tucson.

World class shotgun shooting facility! This beautiful shooting facility has many trap and skeet shooting stations as well as sporting clays. It is located about 8 miles south of the Desert Museum on old Ajo Road. The facility has 210 hookups for R.V.s and a great clubhouse with a bar and grill.
