Tucson Window and Door installed 11 windows for us recently. While not problem free, we love the windows.

Not even one star. Stay away. Great salespeople — aka«alleged» liars. The final product had many defects, and once reported, they sent out their«best». If that’s their best… well. Welcome to Tucson — bring in outsiders to get the job done right. They had plenty of time to resolve the issue, and yet, they didn’t. They blamed me for not returning messages from the«manufacturer». Except, TW&D gave the manufacturers the wrong number. Morons. Yes, you E********. Awful experience.

These guys installed a sliding glass door for me a couple of years ago. They put it in wrong and had to be called back. Twice, they made appointments with me in which I stayed home waiting for them and twice they didn’t show up, or call. The owner/manager at the time was a real condescending jackass who couldn’t manage an apology or understand my irritation. Maybe things have changed but I’d be careful, shop around, and check reviews and references. As for me when I need more windows, I’ll go elsewhere.

Tucson Window and Door are more expensive than many local contractors but less pricey than Plumb, but the service and product are both excellent. My salesman, Matt, explained the types of windows available along with the advantages of each, but I never felt pressured and he respected my time. The next step was to send the measurement man, who again was prompt and thorough. The installation crew, struggling with the challenges of an old nonstandard bungelow, still did a gorgeous job and repaired the inevitable plaster damage seamlessly. Josh is a true artisan, although the second guy seemed more like«window decoration.» Kudos to Matt and his crew for an excellent job.
