This store goes by Antiques, Etc now. So, I went in here when I was on my search for my silver bowls. I had went in and there were a few people eating lunch right in the front/middle(?) of the store. Okay. Not usually a big deal. I see right in the front a bunch of silver items and start glancing while they continue their lunch and conversation. Finally, when another person comes in with more food for the group, someone decides to ask me if I need help. I say, «Yes, I am looking for a medium sized silver bowl that can be engraved. I mean, silver plated.» At which point the person starts kind of laughing and says, «yeah you don’t want silver. we wouldn’t have any silver up here anyway, we would be broken into immediately.» Um. Okay. The whole exchange was odd and made me feel uncomfortable. So I continue my search through the store. I start walking from room to room, not seeing what I need. I have made a full circle, and am back to the door, but they are eating lunch and talking right in the middle on all this furniture. So, they were between the door and me, and were not making any effort to notice me. I circle all the way back around and quietly leave while they continue the conversation. I didn’t find what I needed. They didnt offer to help. I felt uncomfortable. Yeah, I will skip this place next time.
