Very cool decorations and atmosphere. The bar seems well stocked, except for ciders. The lounge is spacious with plenty of chairs, and there is even a table with outlets so you can charge your phone. It’s a fun, trendy, hip place to drink and lounge. The art is awesome and the pool table is near the bar. This is a place to go back and hang out. Especially when they host Geeks Who Drink trivia night on Thursday nights.

Great atmosphere at this bar. Frequented it quite a bit on work trips last year when I was staying here at the hotel. Nice and dimly lit with neon lights throughout the lounge. Great comfortable couches, chairs and tables for having a drink and doing some work. There’s also and outdoor seating area that you can hang out at with some different kinds of funky chairs. Have ordered food from the bar on a few occasions and it has always been hot and excellent. There was one time they forgot about my order and I waited an hour but they made it right. Definitely a great spot for meeting up and watching a game.

A cool, calm bar scene. Clayton the bartender is great to talk to and such an awesome mixologist. They have a comprehensive selection of spirits and small, but well rounded wine and beer list. The place has a cool vibe. If I was a guest in the hotel, not just a bar patron, I would hang out here all day! It may be a hotel bar, but I will definitely be back!

Been here couple of time. Is usually very low key and slow. Actually more like dead. Drinks are simple and prices are a little high.

I went here on a Saturday night in July at about 10pm and there wasn’t many people in there. It was low-key and nice. The décor is very modern with lots of couches and cool chairs to sit in. I believe the hotel lobby and check-in area is in the same area as well. It was a great place to get a drink and talk and they were having happy hour prices when I was there. I would recommend this place to anyone who is in Tucson and would like to enjoy a drink and relax. They also had a pool table there as well. The customer service was great and the bartender was very knowledgeable, assertive, and polite.

Great modern environment, cool music, happy hour on sunday, excellent fresh cocktails, and board games. Also love how they are involved in the community with awesome local events, mixers, and parties. Just awesome… my bartender was Ramses and he was cool and had great service.

I had great service here! Their ambiance is great! On Saturday’s they have live music and this band was playing some pretty groovy jazz:) Thumbs up A loft! I’ll be back!

What a transformation! It was a much need change on the corner of Campbell and Speedway and I certainly welcome it. I’m not entirely sure if the guests of the hotel will feel the same way with the college parties xyz lounge has been throwing these days. I expected a more refined and classy environment, but then again it’s not the lounge that lacks refinement, it’s the parties they choose to host. The lounge is chic, fun and upbeat. For some reason I thought it was going to be on the top floor, but the current location will suffice. While I have not explored their cocktail menu in depth, their offerings are well priced for sure. I’ve only been on a Friday night and the particular party scene was not particularly my vibe, but that’s not to day that many other Tucsonan’s aren’t enjoying it. I’ll return on an off night for relaxed kickback at Wxyz lounge. I hope that in the hotel will be mindful of their guests, as the property is not very big and yelling party animals out on the patio could affect the quality of their stay.

I checked the Wxyz bar on it’s grand opening afternoon/night. The atmosphere inside was nice, modern, and upbeat. It is located within the new Aloft hotel and reminded me of a mini vegas-esque hotel in Tucson, which is a nice change from the norm. The drinks were not too shabby, I got an aged dark rum to sip on, not too steep of a price either. That all said, the outside area was not my favorite. 1. The patio furniture is cheap and the chairs were broken and unusable on the first night. They look cool and modern, but are of a very poor quality. 2. You cannot smoke outside. I am not a big smoker, but everyone in a while I like to enjoy a cigar or a cigarette(maybe once every few months.) That said, they have a strict no smoking policy, which may disappoint many potential patrons. 3. The lighting is miserable. Bugs are attracted to all of the really cool looking glowing cubes of light, but tend to get smashed by menus and drinks, leaving a nasty residue on the tables. The lighting is also below the customer and very bright, leaving you with an unflattering, bottom-lit view of your friends/date. This place has the potential, it is a great location and looks modern/refreshed. Hopefully they figure out what they are capable of and capitalize on it.
