One night, I walked out to only discover that some jerk-​wad decided to break my drivers-​side window and run off into the night. It was a stressful time for me especially when you’re on a tight​-bud​get​.so I called around auto-​glass repair shops for a quota. Most places that I’ve called we’re ranging from $ 190-​$ 210, whoa! Way too much for me!
The reviews for WiseCrack caught my attention and decided to give them a call, they said they would charge me about $ 130 for the replacement and all, perfect pricing for me I’d say. They arrived on the dot of my appointment and finished it all within the hour. Next time if I have anymore problems with my car windows/​windshield I’m definitely give them a call again for the excellent server they provided me last time.

Add to that, the cost was much, much lower than other competitors, the owner, George, is one of the most personable people on the planet, timely and comes to your home and does an amazing job, (complete with former windshield sticker placements) and thorough aftercare instructions for your auto glass.
I smiled all day about getting a great job done at a better than fair price from a LOCAL trusted professional.

To my dismay I saw that my windshield was cracked. I looked around for windshield replacement on Unilocal and these guys came up with good and recent reviews. Gave the guy a call and he was at my place within an hour and half; he was doing another job when i called. All I can say is this guy is awesome and works fast. He’s funny too. I would recommend him to anyone who needed a windshield replacement.

I had a crack in the lower portion of the windshield near the windshield wipers and it quickly spread to a 6.5″ crack. I called up GEICO and looked for a local repair shop to do the replacement. I found Wisecrack online and was amazed at the reviews so much that I had to try them out. They are a GEICO preferred shop and when I called I quickly setup an appointment with George – the owner – and the next morning he came over to my house and in 45 minutes he had the whole replacement done. George is very responsive, professional and I was very pleased with the experience. I will call him again if I ever need auto glass help. A+ in my book.

We didn’t bother googling auto glass, but asked for referrals from friends and associates. Wisecrack was highly recommended. I called, set an appointment that fit our schedule, and was impressed by the quote that was less than a replacement done a few years ago from a less impressive place. George was arrived right on time and set right to work.
Not only did he replace the cracked windshield, but he noticed and repaired molding on the driver’s window that had gotten jammed into the frame. We are impressed with the service, the company, and his young helper. This is the only call you have to make when you need any glass on your car fixed. You’ll be glad you did.

Fast service — I called and they were at my home within a few hours. He did a great job in 98 degree heat by, not only handling the insurance company, installing the windshield glass, but also repairing and replacing any loose or missing trim around the window. I will absolutely use them again.

I am thrilled with the work they did. I don’t use that word often in customer service scenarios. One of my litmus tests for a business is do they have a web presence and do they actually respond to communications that way. As it happened I used Unilocal messaging on a saturday night and didn’t expect any call back as Monday was memorial day. George called me on Monday (the holiday) and we got repairs set up at a very reasonable price and time-​frame. George and I discussed that my model escape had the rain-​sensor in the windshield and he gave me the price for that, which again was more than fair. The guy came out, was very professional and replaced both of my vehicles windshields in short order. The only negative thing about the experience was the fact that the tech didn’t bring a rain-​sensor with him. He told me that these rarely fail and it wasn’t something they carried with them. He offered to meet me anywhere that was convenient to me and he’d do the work. As it turns out I went up to George’s place and he did the work right there, in a few minutes. I would highly recommend this company. I supposed I shouldn’t be so giddy when I get good customer service these days but it’s a testament to the piss poor service you get any many establishment these days. Anyway, I’m happy. Thanks!

Came out for a crack and repair the same day I called. Called and texted when on the way, so appreciated, George showed up ready and professional. Began repair and glass cracked… bummer! Immediately found a new windshield and offered an extremely reasonable price. Came back the next day, same helpful and considerate warning and updates on timeline. Not only was Wisecrack more affordable than the other estimates we received for windshield replacement (by almost half for one of them!), but they are a mobile unit so they came to us! I called Wisecrack, received an estimate five minutes later, scheduled an appointment for that same day, and Robert had my windshield replaced in under 30 minutes. I was impressed by their efficiency, customer service, communication, and quality work. Great job!

I didn’t get the memo that Wisecrack Auto comes to your home to fix the car, so I mistakenly drove to their home office in Samos! (Note to self: take advantage of this complementary service.) Luckily, the staff was very understanding and friendly. I was given water and got to play with their two cute dogs.
I waited no more than 30 mins to replace a broken quarter glass on my 1999 Subaru Outback. The total cost of repairs was $ 170, which includes tax. I highly recommend Wisecrack’s fast, speedy, and cost-​efficient services.

From my recent experience with Wisecrack I can see why the company rates five stars from EVERYONE! This past Saturday I discovered a small crack on my Jeep Wrangler’s front window. Emailed Wisecrack. Sunday evening received a call from, I believe, the owner, George. Appointment made for Tuesday morning, 9AM.
A couple of phone calls from George (problem getting a «real» Jeep window) and a «heads-​up I’m on the way» from Bob, the installer, had my windshield in place before 10AM Tuesday.
These people are fast, efficient, courteous and professional. I sure don’t want to have to replace another windshield again anytime soon, but if I have to then these are the guys I’m going to!

So I guess glass cracks are part of the desert package. Alright, Tucson, I’ll put up with it, but only because of the winter weather.
Great service. Personable. Who doesn’t love the name? Since it’s all mobile, but their office is over by 10 on the West, I was expecting to have to find a middle location. Nope. Yay!
We had to move because of rain, which of course was mostly a tease. Patience and flexibility.
Communication by text helps my asocial heart deal with the necessary exchange of pleasantries and information without dreading pointless time available for a call.
The service was less than expected, even out of pocket, and they were by far the best about being accessible and up front about the quote of the auto glass places I contacted.

Due to a middle-​of-​the-​night suicidal owl encounter at 80mph, our windshield was shattered.
Fortunately, it was worse on the passenger side, so we continued on our journey from Texas to Arizona due to being: in the middle of nowhere; the middle of the night; AND traveling alongside the border of Mexico…
Immediately, we figured out where we would be when repair shops began to open, and Unilocal helped find a SUPER convenient windshield replacement company in Tucson called Wisecrack. The owner answered the phone at 1:30am (!!!) and sent us a quote within minutes – waaaay cheaper than what Google had prepped us for, AND over $ 100 LESS than where our insurance referred us (and declined to pay for) with Safelite. The Wisecrack fellas met us at iHop (again, perfect) along I10 at 8:30am, and the owner and another fella rocked it in less than 30min. Flawless service. 20 STARS if I could.

To my dismay, my 5 year old son fast-​pitched a rock directly through the rear passenger door window on my truck, which I didn’t discover until 8pm at night… My heart sunk. We had just spent a beautiful weekend organizing life duties and stressors, and to discover this, left me shattered and rigid, just like the tiny shards that covered my driveway, and rattled as they settled into the guts of the door.
Okay, not really– It wasn’t that dramatic, but it sucked to have another «thing» to take care of. First thing this morning, I googled (duh) the top auto glass repair places in my zip code. I called each company to compare quotes and overall demeanor. All the quotes were basically in the same ballpark, depending on the type of glass I wanted to use. $ 120-​$ 180. Since price was roughly the same, I decided to seek out the most convenient shop location and combine that as a contributing factor to the customer service (phone demeanor) factor.
Right away, George was friendly, helpful, and overall just really positive and likable. This is something that, as a consumer, that can be an immediate red flag, but it wasn’t like that at all. He was very genuine and not pushy. Once I realized that Wisecrack Auto Glass has a free mobile service, I booked with him. Sure, the cost of the actual window and installation was mid-​range in my estimates ($ 150), but the convenience of not having to monitor my two youngest children while they beg for candy machine money in a repair shop was worth the small fee.
I called George to schedule and he arrived just 2 hours after our phone call, on time, and with the same upbeat attitude. The window was installed very quickly, and he cleaned out my vehicle, and the inside of the door. There’s no more «door maraca» from the glass pebbles to remind me of this fateful day.
Top notch service, fair prices, lifetime warranty, free estimates and mobile service, and approved by all auto insurance companies. I’m not sure what else a consumer could ask for. If this were to happen again, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Wisecrack Auto Glass.

Price quoted was very good. Customer service was also very good. However, technician was late for our appointment and I had to call the office to see if he was still coming. The repairs were done very quickly. But even though I checked at the time of placing my order to make sure that the car would be vacuumed of the broken glass that I was not able to get, the technical did a poor job of getting the glass cleaned up. Plus he left a ton of glass in the carport that I had to clean up myself.
All in all, I give them a 3.5 star rating (out of 5).

I have another rave review for the guys at Wisecrack… I called them on Monday about a crack in my windshield. They came out to my home Tuesday morning. It is now Friday night, and all is well with my new windshield… Flawless installation. Fast, easy, and professional service. Thank you. :)

Wisecrack ROCKS! I talked to George this morning, explaining that my windshield was cracked, needed to be replaced, and asked if he could help me out. He quoted me $ 160 for my vehicle make & model, & when I said «that’s all?» he joked that he could charge more if I really wanted him to, or I could bake him some cookies; I told him «no, that’s ok, I’m happy with $ 160, & no time to bake cookies today, but I’ll definitely have cookies when they show up!» Robert called to let me know when he was a few minutes away, & was super friendly, courteous & efficient. He even suggested a place to get a dash cover to protect what’s left of my dash, and tried to save my window beach parking pass from my home town. I hope I never have to make a windshield call again, but if I do, you can BET I’ll be calling Wisecrack! Thanks guys, for saving my day!

I love these guys! Fast, friendly, service! I called before they were officially open and got someone to answer the phone! I thought I would be getting an answering machine but I think I got the actual owner! I got a small chip which they were going to come out to my job and fix it, but because of the heat, it grew to a crack. I called back and gave him my vehicle specs and ordered me a replacement windshield from Phoenix! A day later, they came out nice and early to my home in Vail and replaced it in less than an hour! Since I have the rain sensing feature only wipers, they ordered the sensor through BMW and came out and replaced it in less than 10 minutes! Super nice guys! Would most defiantly recommend to everyone! They worked with Progressive and I didn’t have to do or sign or pay a thing! Thanks Wise Crack!

These guys are the real deal! I had a chip in my windshield, and insurance with full windshield coverage. To complicate matters though, I also had a Formula One AirBlue tint (transparent UV protectant) installed across the entirety of the windshield. Thankfully, insurance covers the glass back to its «original condition» — tint included. The «recommended» outlet (per my insurer) to perform the windshield swap was not so educated, however, and was unwilling to honor the replacement with the additional tint. Thank God for Unilocal — found these guys, and have experienced amazing customer service with excellence and expertise from the get go. They agreed to perform the tint job, no problem, and arranged a time to come to my home at my convenience.
Upon arrival, they took the new windshield out and did a final inspection. They had sub-​contracted the tint job, and found a couple air bubbles underneath. I am a perfectionist when it comes to stuff like this, and these guys hold the same standard. At their own discretion, they wanted to take it back to do a final touch up to the tint to make sure it was perfect– I was expecting having to wait a couple more days, but in two hours, got a call back, and they promptly returned with the tint job done to a T. Within an hour after that, I had a brand new windshield complete with tint! Ended up with a much better tint job than could ever be achieved when performing tinting with the window already installed :)
These guys get my highest rating — this is how a small business should be run, by people educated in their craft that maintain a high level of personal accountability and excellence. It’s refreshing to have experienced such care :)
