Ive tried their fruit tart, chocolate cake, red velvet, amd tres leches cake and they all sucked. The cakes were too dry and lacked flavor.

Worst customer service and really rude also. I purchased a few slices of cake and sweets for desert unfortunately when I got home and took a few bites the cake was really dry. Also their sweets aren’t even sweet. The red velvet doesn’t even taste like red velvet and the cream cheese tasted like whip cream. When it was time to pay for my order the lady added a few dollars and thought I wouldn’t notice. When I confronted her about it she said she added it and it was right. So I stepped back and added every single item I ordered even calculated the tax and she still refused to change it. I didn’t want to hold up the line so I just paid. Wish I would’ve just stepped back and walked away.

Worst customer service ever. Wow. I can’t spend much more time writing about how disgusting the ladies at the front are.

They destroyed a birthday cake and wouldn’t take responsibility. Customer service is non-existent!!! They decided to change the order completely because they did not have the supplies. When we picked up the cake it was a real surprise. They never confirmed with us about any of the changes to the cake design(which was horrible). Also, they did not have a box for the cake and wanted me to carry out food without covering. It took some arguing before they used their little brains to make a box. On top of that cake was nothing special. I will never go there again!

Has anyone yet mentioned that they have the best barbari! Honestly it’s warm, crisp, soft and delicious. 40 years of living in Glendale have taught me a thing or two about the Armenian culture and its food… Awesome!!! Currently living in Sunland and thanks to the Ararat Bakery my soujouk and eggs now rock!

You should meet the owner!!! he has no idea what customer service is about. The only reason why i am giving them 3 stars is because of the bread. the bread is good.

I hate going into this place. Everything you buy from here is old and when you take it back to them to show them that their stuff is old, they just give you an attitude about it. Never will go in this place.

Small busy market that has a great selection of Persian Style Pastries. They are very friendly always expect a rush in the mornings they have that fresh bread, Barbari all the Armenians get in the mornings. You will not make it home with out watching the bread in the car. Fresh out of the oven. Service and price is great. Small location with low over head equals great savings. Try the cheese pies best in town!

I like this place go here all the time they always have fresh breads(barbari) and great pastries I once went in and bought a red velvety cake it was so good I went and bought a second of the same cake(true story) I’ve never had a problem always have been greeted with a smile but I have had a few experiences with the lahmajun not being extremely fresh, it’s a nice little bakery

Good desserts! We got eclairs, cannolis, napoleons, and tiramisu. Everything was delicious and very well priced. Better than having to deal with Porto’s lines and parking ordeal. Even though they have the same box colors… My only complaint is that the Napoleons were not made with pastry cream but with whipped cream. Also the cannolis weren’t traditional Italian because they didn’t have chocolate chips in the whipped cream and they didn’t have pistachio crumbs on the outside. But overall good.

I had seen this place a long time ago and a friend had told me that the bread is really good. I decided to go and buy a couple of things yesterday. I bought the bread and sure enough it is very good, fresh, hot and out of the oven. I also bought the sweet raisin bread which was very fresh and delicious. The third thing that I got was a pound of cookies # 28. The taste was good but unfortunately they were not fresh at all. The cookies were old. Too bad that the owners do this selling stuff that they know it is not fresh and knowing that I was a new customer. Unfortunately, most of the Armenian bakeries tend to do this. Service was ok .It was acceptable but not good. Honestly, I did not feel very welcome in this place. This is mostly the reason I am giving it only three stars. Prices were good.

Irresponsible .As a business owner myself and being in retail for more than five years I perfectly know if something is your fault you have to make your customer happy when you send them out. My order was not ready at the time of request(the cook did not show up) They didn’t even bother to inform me via the number I left. on top of everything they are trying to upsell and charge me for something that I didn’t want from the first place. Instead of solving their own problem I’m told to hurry because they are busy, in a very rude manner cause I refused to take their instant made up cake.

A golden box , filled with sweet but not too sweet, equally golden pastries , arrived at the office. Delicacies, some traditionally Greek(Baklava), some equally so French(Palmiers), with some unique to me, seriously, I Googled ‘em! Now, I truly don’t know Gata from Nazooks but what I do know is I want to enjoy these Armenian delights again. For those of you close by, GO, ENJOY too! Moi? Road trip :)

This little bakery I have passed many times on the road. We walked there today to pick up some breakfast. They have beautiful cakes and ethnic foods like pepper and eggplant sauces, teas and cheese. The cashew and almond pastries are nice, not too sweet. We tried potato and beef piroshki which were ok. They sell coffee beans, no sit down cups of coffee. Will be back again because they sell my favorite Sadaf cardamom tea. In Little India it was upwards of $ 8.00. Here $ 4.99. Yummy way to start the day.
