Yoga Grounds is a small studio that offers many different types of yoga. I have taken Kundalini and Iyengar with very thoughtful and amazing teachers. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to start something new. Yoga has changed my life and I credit Vera for opening up my mind to a new world. Thank you, Yoga Grounds!

If you are looking to get away from«gym yoga» and deepen your yoga practice in a small and intimidate environment, look no further! Yoga Grounds offers a variety of yoga styles including Kundalini, Hatha, Iyengar, and Pilates/Stretch/Strengthen. I have been coming here since 2006 and absolutely love it. Vera, the owner, is an amazing yoga teacher and offers a wealth of information, experience, and wisdom to her students. In addition to a friendly staff, there is always an abundant supply of complementary tea and cookies at the end of every class. Wether you are a beginner or seasoned yogi, Yoga Grounds is truly a welcoming environment that accommodates people of all levels, experiences, and walks of life.

A nice little studio hidden in a strip mall in La Crescenta. Only about fifteen minutes from Pasadena up the 210 freeway, don’t count this place out as being too far away! Fantastic Iyengar classes, the same teachers also teach at Yoga House. Not that I prefer one over the other-they each have their strengths, it just helps to have more options when you’re trying to find a class that fits your schedule. It’s not a drop-dead gorgeous studio but it is a nice space and has ropes for true Iyengar yoga, the props are all really nicely kept and new, and they have tea, water, and even cookies. The owners and staff are all wonderful people, very warm, very inviting, amazing personal attention. Warning-there is no separate lobby or waiting room, it’s a small place. There is one bathroom, if you need to change.
