They have the standard stuff for analog and digital circuits, computer parts, etc. They even have a little space for Arduino and Raspberry Pi accessories. Nice little deposits of surplus and pulled parts here and there too. If you don’t ask for help, they probably won’t even acknowledge you. But they will gladly help you if you ask – they’ve gone looking for stuff in the back for me, more than once. You can find parts for much cheaper online, of course. But they’re local and they stock good quality parts. Worth supporting, IMHO.

I’m so glad Alphatronics is hanging in there! It’s much nicer to browse electronics supplies than to read about them on the web. Lots of great parts here.

You can find them in a business park called«M3»… it’s easy to miss. They are behind the first row of shops. This place has a lot of parts! Often they may not have newer parts up front but they have them in bulk in their warehouse which is attached. I was looking for a MAX3221 and unfortunately I didn’t do my research and they only sell them in SOIC. I wanted DIP. but they had them! I love shopping at this place. I wish they would expand the surplus stuff but perhaps put it in the back corner. They used to have«grab bags» years ago. those were always full of good stuff. I noticed they also have a lot of rare batteries and a great selection of tools and cabling. I highly recommend browsing this shop!

This place is seriously old school, a warehouse of electrical joy. Like Big John’s PFI is an ur-prototype of Trader Joes, no frills, no carpet, no heat, this place is like Fry’s before it was Fry’s — - just serious, geeky electrical components, many of which you couldn’t hope to find anywhere else — like 450 ohm twin lead ladder line, and every conceivable soldering iron tip. They know their stuff and are actually helpful, as opposed to merely dumb and pleasant. Google maps shows it about half a block south of where it really is.
