This was my first visit to this place. I pass it often in the line of work I’m in but never had the chance to drop in until today. I ordered the #13 plate, beef and chicken combo with salad and white rice. It was ok, the rice was fresh, the beef & chicken were«warm» not hot, the salad was good, dressing was an attempt at green goddess. Nice, polite staff, interior dated but clean.

The worst teriyaki place I’ve ever been. The place is dirty, and has a bad smell inside. Food is not eatable, chicken was undercooked. Would not recommend it.

Not a terrible place and food was alright. When compared with other teriyaki places though, I have to say they’re struggling to be competitive. Prices are higher than others, they charge you extra to make your food spicy. They charge extra to use sriracha. Seems like they’re always nickle and diming you.

It may look a bit dumpy from the outside, but the place is pretty solid. I’ve never tried the American fare, but the Asian is decent. It is pretty much the closest to my work that it isn’t a rat race to get to. Staff is very friendly, especially after they get to know you. Service is fast. It took about 3 minutes for my spicy chicken to come out. Yumm tasty. It is pretty safe there as its close to the police target range. So there’s a lot of people packing!

I work close to this restaurant and have been coming here for almost 20 years. I have to admit though, the only thing I’ve ever ordered from Best Café is their Chicken Teriyaki — I love it! I’ve had teriyaki at numerous other restaurants but this is my favorite. I’m not a huge fan of overly sweet teriyaki sauce, so when I first tasted their teriyaki chicken I was hooked. The chicken is a perfect blend of grilled chicken and teriyaki flavoring. It’s placed on a generous helping of white rice, with a portion of sauce to pour over to your liking. Unlike other restaurants they do NOT smother the chicken with sickly sweet teriyaki. As for the restaurant itself, there’s not much to say. It’s very plain but clean and functional. The staff is very friendly, most of whom I’m sure have worked there for a long time.

I go here mainly because I’m two minutes away from the establishment. The staff there is always very nice to me and knows me on a first name basis. My only issue is that the food is inconsistent. I typically get the spicy teriyaki chicken and the spice level fluctuates. I also never eat the salad here because a couple of my co-workers have gotten sick over it. This place also serves up american food such as burgers, sandwiches and fish and chips. I’ve had a bacon cheeseburger here and it was actually pretty good! The burger patty was cooked well and seasoned and they definitely did not skimp on the amount of bacon. You have the purchase fries on the side however. Tip: If you order the burger be sure to call it in first. It takes a good 10 – 15 minutes for them to make it.

Finally found a burger joint near Seattle that reminds me of southern California! The bacon cheeseburger was just what I thought it would be. Greasy and delicious served with a huge mound of crinkle cut fries. Ketchup in the plastic squirt bottles. And lots of local construction dudes eating here makes it a safe bet.

I go here mostly for convenience. Menu is extensive with burgers and fried seafood but I stick to the Asian dishes and more specifically the spicy chicken dish. Very fast service and good value. Looks of the place might keep you away but definitely worth trying. Don’t be put off by my 3 star rating; it truly is A-OK!

Stopped here for a chicken teriyaki lunch. Fast service good food. Chicken was tender and not loaded with sauce.

I really would not have figured this place would be decent, but it’s pretty solid. I can stand behind the burgers and fries, and the fish and chips was surprisingly good. Not mind-blowing, but I’ve certainly had worse at places that specialize in fish and chips. I ordered the teriyaki chicken burger once. Don’t do that. I mean, I guess you could, but know what you’re getting in to. I was expecting perhaps they would be serving me a grilled teriyaki chicken breast, maybe with some pineapple? Nah. The same cut up teriyaki chicken you get served next to a bit of rice was unceremoniously put on a bun. I think there was a little shredded lettuce thrown in for good measure, but… no. The idea isn’t as bad as the execution, so I can’t fault them for trying. One bad sandwich out of an entire menu? Not every at-bat can be a home run. Best Café and Teriyaki is a respectable lunch spot with a decent variety of menu items, a nice staff, and decent prices.

Last week I started a new job and my new boss took a group of us out to lunch at one of the only places nearby — Best Café & Teriyaki. The menu is huge — everything from sandwiches to fish and chips to teriyaki dishes. Oh, and there are burgers too! Lots to choose from. Since I was trying to decide fairly quickly, I just went with the standard chicken teriyaki. It was solid and I’d come back and have it again. The wait was a bit slow, but we did have four people in our group, so that may have been the issue. Prices are reasonable and the woman who took our order was friendly. The parking lot is TINY, so be prepared to squeeze yourself in and our of your car.

Driving a back way home several times this spot definitely caught my eye especially given mostly in this area is warehouses, freeway and highways. I stopped and was impressed with the vast menu of burgers, fish/chips and teriyaki options complete with pictures to help you place your order =D Craving a good stirfry, I ordered yakisoba to go. When I got home, I was disappointed because mostly it was filled with noodles. Where is the veggies??? Despite the lack of veggies, this dish offered a great taste in seasoning. The dish was NOT soaked with liquid as some places tend to do. The chicken was moist and also had good flavoring. Next time, I won’t order a stirfry, but I would definitely order chicken teriyaki provided the moistness and good flavoring. Its also located in a convenient place too!

Darn… good…burgers…Okay, I haven’t tried any of the asian food here, but I live on the same street as this place and I get REALLY excited when I’m driving home with a fat, greasy brown paper bag holding a bacon cheeseburger buried in a huge pile of crinkle fries. Three stars cuz I don’t even know if the asian food is good(haha, I imagine it is) but great burgers, people!

You know what… this place is not bad. I would probably give this place 3.5 stars but I think they deserve a little extra for convenience. It’s a relief to people working around this area to have a place like this since I did not find many other teriyaki joints close by and they do not seem to have much competition unless you are willing to take the drive. Here, they not only serve teriyaki, but they also serve burgers, too. I ordered their mushroom burger. I always enjoy a good burger that does not taste like it’s right out of the freezer. And the mushrooms were juicy. I was not disappointed by my choice. The only thing I did not like about my order were the fries, which were like the wavy ones I used to get from my elementary school cafeteria. Don’t get me wrong — they cooked the fries well and they were crisp and freshly fried, but something about the shape of them bothered me(just a personal pet peeve of mine — like round-shaped McD nuggets!). My boyfriend, who works around the area, was the one who took me here. He says that he goes here every once in awhile and usually orders the burgers, chicken katsu, or teriyaki dishes. I tried a little bit of his beef teriyaki and I can say that it was not bad. The beef was tender and not overcooked and it wasn’t drowned in teriyaki sauce. When I went, we were the only customers eating in, but it seemed like there were quite a few people walking in and picking up their orders. If you are ever around this area, for reasons I cannot imagine aside from the fact that you might work around here, and you do not want to eat at some typical fast food chain or are craving rice, this place is not much of a looker from outside, but it’s worth a try.
