Project Feast

I have taken 3 cooking classes through Project Feast and they have all been wonderful. The classes are a very interesting and fun way to learn about a new culture, learn new cooking techniques and eat some amazing food. I highly recommend!

We have now hosted Veena and Project Feast at my business as a caterer three times, and each time food was ready when we needed it, and delicious. We’ve never had so many great responses to a catered meal at our coworking space, to be completely honest.

A review from daughter who visited Project Feast with her 5^th Grade class last Spring:
When I went to project feast, I was inspired, excited and it sparked a curiosity in me. The experience went something like this: my class and I went into the Project Feast building in Tukwila and met the cook. The cook told us about her culture, food, and why she left her country. Then we met the head chef who told us about the meal we were going to make and the skills we would learn to use. We then started making the meal, getting split up into smaller groups, each group handling a different part of the meal. At last we tasted the delicious food we learned how to make, proud of our end result. It may sound boring to some, but washing the dishes at the very end was actually really fun because of the dishwashing game they made up for everyone. All in all I had a great time and learned a lot! I would return without a doubt.
