Reclinerland

Unlike the previous reviewer I had a very positive experience. My sales associate (can’t remember his name) did mention that some furniture were of higher quality. He then flipped over the sofa and showed me why. He did not make any rude remarks or were pushy. I would definitely buy from here if they had the lowest price or close to it.

I had a horrible experience at Reclinerland.
The main issue here is a sales associate named James Brown. Right from the start he was incredibly insulting, rude, and an overall horrible sales associate.
I went into Reclinerland looking for a lower priced recliner for my girlfriend and I. He refused to show us anything in our price range. When I asked him about the lower priced recliners, he told me that the wood in those products was of low quality. He said that furniture made in Mexico, India, and China are all low quality because the people of those countries pollute their waters which in turn results in lower quality woods and other materials. As a Chinese American citizen, I took great offense to this. He said that the only way to go was American made, because America is the only place that puts regulations on their water and dumping.
At another point in the discussion he told my girlfriend that women don’t know how to use recliners. He looked at me and said, «what ever you tell ‘em, they won’t listen», referring to women’s skills in following direction from men. This was also very rude and infuriating.
Finally my girlfriend and I had had about enough so we decided to leave. He didn’t give us a break to talk. In fact, throughout this entire conversation he never once asked us what we wanted, what our needs were, or what we were looking for. So my girlfriend came up with an excuse to leave. He came back at us and basically called us out for making up some BS excuse just to get out of the store. He said that he sees it all the time and he doesn’t appreciate it because he doesn’t like to be jerked around. He referenced a book about 100 BS reasons a customer has to leave the store. I really disliked how he talked down to me. He made it seem that I was a horrible person for not sticking around to hear more of his crazy stories, and ignorant viewpoints.
On the plus side, Reclinerland DOES have a huge selection. And the prices were decent. Some of the recliners had pretty good build quality from what I could tell, and others not so much. The store itself is decent, but the service is horrible.
Maybe my experiences were isolated, or even specific to my sales associate, but please think twice before visiting Reclinerland.
