I love this store! The workers here are really nice and always try to make conversation. The place is a bit pricey but not super overpriced. I went there yesterday and finally met the owner. I bought 6 huge Totoro buttons and a little small one. The owner rang me up for the 6 and said that he’ll just throw in the small one for free. That was really nice of him :) I’m surprised that this place doesn’t have a 5 star review overall.

This store is not for me at all but it is right up your alley if you are training to be a ninja, have always wanted a monkey wine holder statue, need a Buddha, going to a Sailor Moon party or have more money than you know what to do with but no class. I ventured inside this store due to the odd costumes in the left window display. I wondered what that had to do with imports. When I think of an import shop, I think of high quality goods, art and objects affiliated with a specific culture different than the country they came into. There are curio display cabinets full of trinkets, the kind of resin, ceramic and glass figurines you see at a garage sale. Throw in the samurai swords on the back wall, a few Buddha statues, and some random made in China items and that’s the store in a nutshell. I wasn’t approached or noticed by any sales people, but that was a blessing. The two teenage boys leaving with a new sword covered in black velvet were thrilled. And that, I think, is all that matters.
