Best won ton soup I have ever had. Hubby, who loves phở, says theirs is top 3. Great sticky rice. Very friendly service. We like to stop here on road trips between Sacramento and LA.

Found this little place in Tulare before a business visit. Was not too cramped with customers so I was seated pretty much as I walked in the door. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai cause that’s I likey… And like I did… Yum. Service was very good. Delivery of food was fast. Price point: comfortable So if your travels bring you to Tulare CA, pay them a visit… Phở sure!(See what I did there?)

When you are starving, you would be able to tolerate subpar food. However it was a rip off when your grilled pork tasted like it was reheated 3x over; the texture was worse than greasy cork. I have had instant Phở that tasted better. The pad Thai was bland and the chicken was dry. We tried but $ 30+ of uneaten food was left on the table and I could only hope that they end up in the trash since it would be in appropriate to re-serve them to any living person/animal. We still left a decent tip because the hostess/waitress was attentive but at this rate she may not be able to work since the restaurant would be out of business if it keeps on serving inedible or old food. I work hard for my money and deserve to have decent food that I pay for as everyone does. Still feel we got ripped off or robbed.

After a long drive we decided to stop at Tulare, CA and sit and dine. We searched restaurants located in Tulare and had high expectations based on Unilocal.Needless to say our expectations were not meet, not one bit. The food was good but the customer service was just plain awful. For starts we ordered a cold pink lemonade, the drink is given to us in a warm 20FLOZ Minute Maid bottle without a cup of ice. Then food was served to us without a fork or spoon. While we eat rap music was played in the background and individuals are heard loudly singing in the kitchen. A young male is seen existing the kitchen and begins to have a conversation with the female server a few steps away from our table; both spoke about raising prices and changing food items in the menu(I assume he’s the owner). Half way done with our food, a group of males arrived with a rude and obnoxious attitude and are sat behind our table. No manners, some sat with their feet on top of the table but seems to be okay for this place because they’re friends to the owner. The owner and server then forget we are still sitting down, we made multiple attempts to get their attention and failed. We got up, paid the bill, and left. Out of routine we left a tip to the server but they lost a future customer. Never again will we visit this place, I don’t recommend this place at all.

never had this place before so I called to see if they had vegetable phở. The lady told me they did after she hesitated and asked what kind of vegetables I wanted, which caught me off guard because I assumed if you have vegetable phở you already have vegetables in it to serve in your dish. I’ve never had to pick what vegetables I wanted? Anyway, I had it to go and once I got home to eat I immediately knew it was not vegetable phở. It smelled like beef broth, and they’re was little chucks of meat floating in the broth. Then I found a nerve in my soup. Not cool. When I ask for vegetable I mean VEGETABLE phở, not chicken/beef phở and just take out the meat. At least hospitality was nice. Not the place for me though.

Bomb ass food. Great service. It has been in my home town for just a little while. I had not been into this but I have to share some love for this awesome PHO. I live beach side now but love this food, service, and place. Cheers, Amy.

Find a phở place for lunch so I check it out. Order a number 3, which was there combination phở. Got a GIANT red cup of soda and the small straw to back it up. The straw just falls right in, but hey I hope the phở is good. I got my veggie side dish, but all the stuff was kinda dry like it was left in the frig for days. For ex the bean sprouts was soggy, jalapeño soggy and old, a WHOLE slice lime, and like a small piece of mint leaf. I was like okay, its Tulare, what can you expect. So I got the phở and it look like they just threw all the meat inside and boiled it all together. Fuck it, im starving. No taste, just boiled meat, so I added my sauces for flavor. I didnt finish it, so I just stop and left. ANDYES Please use some fresh ingredients!

Salty broth, dark greased out eggrolls, dried out basil and sprouts. I don’t know what happen to this place, it used to be good but now it’s garbage.

I love the phở here. Very good! The only problem I’ve had is one experience where I use the condiments there at the store instead of the ones they give you in the packages when you pick up. I was adding my sriracha and all of that and a cook comes from the back and asks the waitress what the hell I am doing in Spanish and I guess he didn’t know I could understand it and the waitress shrugs and tells him I like to add my own condiments. It made me a little uncomfortable. Other than that experience; the food is great.

We wanted an afternoon snack so the girlfriend suggested we stopped here since it had good reviews. I agreed thinking a couple of spring rolls sounded good because we still had ways to go to get to Fresno. The minute I walked into the restaurant I knew we were in trouble. The staff are non Asian. None of the diners were Asians. A glance at the picture menu confirms my suspicion because the Phở looked bland and unappetizing. The spring rolls were okay, my white girlfriend could do better. The rolls came with shrimp and ham it says but I’m not sure the piece of white meat was ham at all, at least not the kind of ham a Vietnamese chef would choose to put in the spring rolls. The peanut sauce was rather bland.

Delicious, fast and always prepared perfectly. I’m a big fan of the beef phở bowl, as it has several different types of beef and it comes in a bowl the size of a bathtub. I still have yet to finish this dish. Also, try the spicy chicken wings. Delicious sauce.

I’m a late starter to trying Vietnamese — Thai Food. Mexican is what I’ve had for 26 years, I want to try new things! P. s. don’t worry Mexican, I’ll always come back to you. The Fiancé and I came in for lunch. The waitress gave us the option where to sit and took our drink order. She came back with HUGE cups and I prefer that! If you’re eating a lot of spice, you need a lot of drink. I ordered the Medium Chicken Phở and the Pad Thai(spicy) with Shrimp. The Phở came out first and the broth/noodles were delicious! I had to add some spice of course, the hotter the better. The Pad Thai came out next. I can’t begin to express how amazing it tasted. Imagine every single noodle impacted with flavor… BOOM! Overall Great Friendly Service — Short Wait Time — Amazing Food! If you don’t like this restaurant: 1.You’re Crazy 2.Get the Phở Outta Here!

I had a medium combination phở. The phở they brought in front of me looked very different from the picture in the menu: it wasn’t that colorful at all. Regardless, soup was good and it was a good portion. Slightly expensive compared to other places, and small portion of soy bean sprouts and basil leaves. There are a couple of things that are different from other phở restaurants. First, there was no sauce or other condiments for the phở on the table. Waitress brought them, once I ordered my phở. Second, there were no chopsticks on the table. Waitress brought a fork! So, that was the first time for me to eat phở with fork, consequently I asked a pair of chopsticks. Thirdly, there was not a paper napkin stand, from which you can pull infinity number of paper napkins. Since I sweat whenever I eat something hot, thus I always use some paper napkins. That was inconvenient for me. Overall, phở was not bad, and the store was clean, but somehow I prefer old & traditional kind of phở restaurants. It’s just not my type of restaurant.

Been here quite a few times and every time, am treated very kindly and good size portion of food for a cheap price. The food though, it is AMAZING! The pad thai, OMG! Coming from LA, this is like home! This is the only place I will eat hot wings at, better price and taste than corporate companies with a homemade feel Family owned, make u feel at home here.

After venturing into this hidden gem, I was immediately greeted and seated by my wonderfully attentive and friendly waitress. I immediately ordered the spring roll appetizer and drinks, both of which were promptly delivered to the table. The spring rolls with peanut sauce and sri racha are a force to be reckoned with! Without saying anything, the waitress put on a kid’s movie on their TV screen to help occupy my occasionally-hyperactive 2 year old. THANKYOU. Beyond this small gesture of kindness(as it allowed me to slightly enjoy my meal in spurts of quietness), I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai for dinner — what a huge portion for less than ten dollars! Very tasty and a truly authentic Thai classic. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning soon with my wife and both kids.

I can’t tell you how happy me and my husband are that they have opened a Thai place in Tulare and that its GREAT! The place is nice and clean and our server was very nice and made good recommendations. I had the Pad Thai and it was so flavorful and a perfect portion. My husband had the beef Phở which he really liked and barely finished the Medium portion and he’s not one to eat on the light side so I would say it’s a hearty portion! We both shared chicken Spring Rolls which were very fresh and big for the price of 5 $. The best part was having the owner be so attentive wanting our opinions on her food, telling us about her preparations and willing to take criticism to please us if there was something we didn’t like, which we didn’t because we loved the food. She told us the menu is a little small but plans on expanding once they get a little more settled since this is a new place! I personally can’t wait to go back and try the wings everyone kept ordering!
