Very cute diner with great food. Family friend owns it and have been here many times. They struggle when it gets busy, don’t plan to be in a hurry. Stopped here last Tuesday on my way out of town and should have tried another spot for breakfast. A waitress I did not recognize(moved south a few years ago, some staff has changed) was clearly having a rough morning. She could not have made it more obvious how annoyed she was to be there. Slamming plates, menus and drinks down in front of patrons with not so much as a «what are you ordering». We get it, you’re short handed. I hope for her sake one of the more experienced waitresses give her some pointers or she will not last long with that sour attitude. Keep up the good cooking, but don’t forget to teach your girls some good old customer service :)

Stopped here on the way home to New Jersey from thanksgiving in Niagara Falls with some family. In a nut she’ll, after eating breakfast here with my wife and 2 children, we decided that we want to move here. Everyone was extremely friendly, not only the employees, but just the people in this small town of Tully. Oh and yeah, the food was excellent. I know it sounds simple, eggs, pancakes, chicken fried steak with sausage gravy, grilled cheese with bacon, and sausage patties(my kids will not eat links). We’re talking everything home made!!! Sausage gravy was incredibly creamy with perfect sized sausage. The pancakes were flakey, and just perfect. I can go on and on about the food, but, in simple terms, JUSTGOTHERE!!!

We used the Unilocal app to find a place to grab a quick decent meal right off I81 hwy. This place is nothing fancy, but the service and food were excellent. We did not wait very long for food to be served, very generous portions. Folks from MD

First thing that caught my eye was the«Big & Tall» section on the menue. Big portions for big eating. Two dishes titled«Jennt Craig Dropout» and«Sweep the Floor Omelet» cracked me up! I settled for the«Thick French Toast» with cinnamon and raisins, home fries and sausage. Awesome! Service was friendly and the café was clean. Glad we got a seat before the morning rush.

Found this gem on our way home from Auburn completely by accident. So glad we did. Breakfast was amazing. Service was quick and friendly. I would definitely find it again on purpose when we are in the area.

My buddy and I found this place driving home from a college reunion in Oswego. It was Sunday morning and time for breakfast. This place is right off I-81, south of Syracuse and very easy on and off. When we walked in the place was packed and a couple of people were waiting ahead of us. But we got lucky and several tables opened up a couple of minutes later. It was clear that this was a popular place. When we sat, the table was still dirty but the waitress came quickly, apologized and cleaned it. The wait staff was working very hard and really could have used a bus boy. The food was fantastic. I had a 3 cheese omelet and I could taste how fresh the eggs were. You don’t get that here in NYC. The home fries were terrific and a large sized order to boot. I would absolutely eat here again the next time my travels bring me to the area.

We found this tucked away diner off the highway after my mom noticed a sign on I-81 when we were looking for lunch. We never would have known that the Elm Street Café existed were it not for that sign, so I’m extremely glad that she was paying attention! We purposely timed our eating on the return trip to stop there for lunch, so that should tell you something. The food is great, from standard diner fare to what could be considered challenges worthy of «Man vs. Food», it’s plentiful and homemade. I had their biscuits and homemade sausage gravy on the return trip which was perfectly seasoned, and the open faced roast beef sandwich on the way down which came with real mashed potatoes(Skin in). The staff was very friendly and helpful, the only complaint is that they may need more waitresses or at least a busser for the busy times(Sundays especially). We did wait an hour from when we stepped in the door to having our food arrive on our return trip, a lot of it spent waiting for an empty table to be cleaned off(The waitresses were working very hard so I definitely don’t blame them). If it wasn’t for the fact that we had known how good the food was, we might not have waited. All in all, I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area. I highly recommend it!

Here is a little gem located just a mile or so off the highway. Luckily I decided to try it out rather than stopping at the Burger King. I had roast beef hash with two poached eggs on top. The hash was delicious, homemade, with two perfectly cooked eggs on top. The coffee was surprisingly good. Fast and courteous service. Very reasonable prices. No wonder there was a line out the door!

Went here for breakfast after hockey game with 4 couples and a bunch of kids. The number of us sort of threw the staff for a loop. Coffee and drinks were slow to come out, but they were patient with the kids which made up for it. The food was quite good, portions hearty and was all hot. Overall, we would definitely return!

The breakfast quesadilla was excellent. The service was a bit slow and she didn’t come over to refill coffee until we were already done. Still, I’ll definitely come here again.

We ride for breakfast often, but this was our first time here. It will not be our last! The breakfast quesadillas were to die for! The Elm Street breakfast was fabulous as well. Great service, good coffee, the best breakfast we have had in a long time! We will be back!

Driving home from Niagra Falls and found this little gem on my garman. We ordered breakfast and it was incredible and priced right. I got an omlet filled with ham, pepper, onions mushrooms and cheese with sausage gravy on it, it was amazing and not OVERCOOKED. The home fries just like my mom cooked them. My husband got a specialty eggs benedict with FRESH spinach and bacon mmmmm good. Our waitress was awesome and selected this ultimate chocolate cake that was filled with a chocolate granache that made my eyes roll in back of my head. I wish this place was around the corner from me back home in Drexel Hill, Pa. This place reminded me of the cool places in center city Philly the only difference is that in Philly a breakfast of this caliber would have cost an easy $ 50 bucks.

Food can depend on the cook, but breakfast is always good. Love the ice cream. Waitresses are friendly. Trying to decide where to go in tully? I would go here before sweet basil any day. Their service is fast. Prices are fair. Clean.

Breakfast here has always been good to me. I’m a big fan of their cheap breakfast sandwiches and normally order 2 because it takes a pretty large amount of food to fill me up. If you’re in Tully for one reason or another and are looking for a great place to get breakfast I would definitely suggest The Elm Street Café. And as Bro H said, it’s not worth driving from Syracuse but if you’re on route 81 near exit 14 i’d hop off and get yourself some breakfast. Lunch and Dinner? Not quite sure how good this stuff is but if I had to guess I would say it’s just as good as their breakfast. The service is also attentive because it’s a rather small diner which is great!

This place is great. Sucks the rating is dragged down by Daniel S’s brilliant-ass review. Had a concoction of french toast, ham, cheese, poached egg, and hollandaise, and it was really tasty, and cheap($ 6.50). Fries at the table next to me looked really good too, so I ordered some, and they were good. Service was attentive. Nothing to dislike. Worth a drive from Syracuse to Tully? No, but if you’re in the area anyway, you could do much worse.

With so many dining options available in the metropolis of Tully, NY it is really hard to pick where to go for a high class meal. Ummm… Well, it is hard to tell if sarcasm really comes through on a Unilocal review, but really there are like 4 places to get food in Tully. Elm Street Café is probably the second best — which places it in the top half of all restaurant options in the city! Not too shabby! I came here for lunch with my dad and was pretty pleased. They serve breakfast and lunch almost all day with some dinner options thrown in late night. I was particularly impressed to see Kielbasa on the menu(one of the items my grandfather always served when I was a kid!) but didn’t order it because it has lots of other effects besides getting full. They also serve some specialty coffees and stuff. The food was ok, the service was good. They don’t make their own deserts but bring them in frozen from somewhere else — a pretty close guess for where I think a lot of the food comes from. When you are deciding where to eat in Tully, I think you could do worse than Elm Street Café.
