Bill & Ruth’s Sub

I ate here for lunch with 7 of my coworkers while on business in Tulsa. One of my coworkers suggested we eat here. I have to say that I really enjoyed the French dip I ordered. It was just the perfect size for lunch. All of my coworkers liked their food as well. I would like to eat here again since there were several sandwiches on the menu that I want to try. I am told there are several locations in Tulsa which is great because I do travel to Tulsa about once a month or so for work.

Bill & Ruth’s is a great alternative to the chain sub places around town.
This was my first time eating at Bill & Ruth’s, from the suggestion of a co-​worker. This is a short walk from my work, so it is very convenient when in a hurry for lunch. When I walked in, it wasn’t what I expected. This is a family run restaurant with the feel of home. There are daily specials and other meals besides just subs. There are plenty of tables and space. However, I am told there is usually a lunch rush with a line out the door. I would suggest going after lunch or right before.
I am a sandwich purest, so I only get meat and cheese. There are only two options for bread, white or wheat. There are many different variations in subs, with lots of meats and veggies. I got turkey and american cheese on white. The turkey was very fresh and sliced up, like from a butchers counter. The cheese was graded, instead of by the slice; this was nice surprise. The overall sandwich seemed more fresh. It was a very tasty sub, and I will choose Bill & Ruth’s instead of Subway any day!

Friendly, fast and tasty… this Bill and Ruth’s is my sandwich stop of choice for a quick meal in uptown Tulsa. Lots of choices for lunch. Check it out and see.
