Came here for the Tulsa Home and Garden Show(which was a pretty small show) and was pleasantly surprised to see many upgrades and add-ons to the facility. There’s a nice café, so if you’re thinking of eating before attending an event, don’t go out of the way: there is food here. Though they’ve made improvements, the older and dated parts of the former convention center are visible. It’s very sectioned off and there’s some dead space that really seems awkward. That said, I recommend taking a short stroll around downtown Tulsa and seeing the library(which is currently being renovated), the BOK Arena(which I lovingly call the bokka-reena… Hey bokka-reena bokka-reena bokka-reena…) and other downtown delights. Overall: a solid convention center. The QT Expo Center and even the Renaissance can offer stiff competition, but for downtown Tulsa, this is it.

The Cox Business Center is a great venue for any large event. I have been to many events at Cox and they are always great! The space is very large, but does not feel too big. The main room is large enough for at least 1000 people. There is plenty of parking near by and there is usual valet available. Plenty of bathrooms as well. Every meal I have had here is very delicious; sit down meals and buffets are provided at Cox. The location is also perfect, surrounded by hotels and bars. I will also be working with the Cox Business Center for an upcoming event. We had a meeting with them and they are very helpful. The staff includes a event coordinator, lighting coordinator, and food coordinator. They were open to all our ideas and willing to accommodate anything we needed. It does seem a little pricey, but this space is well worth it. Consider the Cox Business Center for your next large, up-scale event !
