SERIOUSLY the best Greek food I have had in years! My husband surprised me with lunch. He bought me a gyro combo with hummus as the side. I’ve have had so many«gyro type» sandwiches thought I wasn’t going to be impressed. Boy was I wrong! Fresh perfectly seasoned lamb, creamy delicious tsatsiki sauce, fresh crisp veggies, and actual chunks of feta cheese in a warm freshly baked pita. The hummus was out of this world! Have been back several times since and want to try other things on the menu but cannot bring myself to try anything but the gyro/hummus… it is that delicious!

So, I was wanting something different yet good… and stumbled upon this place where once in the door, INSTANTLY greeted with an inviting energy and GREATSMELLS… Whether it was the guy waiting for his meal WHO shared a little of himself, or the chef behind the counter, whom I had the pleasure of meeting, shaking his hand and thanking for extending an awesome gyro my way without ANY delay. I’ll be back and encourage all to definitely give this Palace(not a typo) a try. TRUSTME… D

A little spot with big gyros. They always hook me up with a large portion when I eat here. I tend to order the gyro combo special. It’s about 8 bucks, and it will mos def fill you up. Believe it or not, the cheeseburgers they serve are pretty good as well. There’s a number of other Mediterranean meals to choose from. I can only speak on what I’ve tried, and so far the gyros and burgers have not let me down.

I was greeted with enthusiasm and a smile, which was a great way to start the experience. I placed a to go order and the owner– who takes the orders and cooks– insisted in giving me a free pop. The place was fairly busy but he still managed to cook and take orders at the same time. The gyro was delicious! I ordered it supreme which came with the sauce, lettuce, tomato, and extra meat. We also had a Greek salad and it was a good portion size and very tasty. It has been years since I had been here, but this time I will be back soon!

Called this store based on Unilocal reviews and man was it good. Ordered«take out» for 10 people for a get together at our house and everything was prepared perfectly for a catered party. We ordered gyro meat, grilled chicken, Greek salad, falafel, cucumber and yogurt dip, humus, spinach pies and baklava. Only $ 15 per person for more food than we could all eat. We are middle eastern and very picky but gyro palace was a hit with everyone — even my super picky mom. She actually said«this is one of the best baklavas I’ve ever had». The meat was tender, yogurt dip was amazing, Greek salad was excellent. Only improvement could be the hummus but still good. My guests actually asked to take home leftovers. Can’t wait to go back for nights we don’t want to cook dinner and for our next party.

Wonderful Gyros. I co ou ld eat one everyday. The Gyros are so big, the supreme isn’t necessary for a g good sized meal. Ill be back next week.

Great Food! Very small place. Blink, and you’ll miss it. We were visiting Tulsa and saw all the cars parked in front of it. Don’t look at the surroundings or the inside décor. Just look at the menu and order. DELICIOUS! All 6 of us liked it. Friendly cooks. Looks like its a Locals’ favorite!

The owner is super nice and the food is fresh and fantastic. It’s my top gyro place in Tulsa. I usually get one of the platters to get a taste of different things.

This place surprised me! Total hole in the wall, but the food is delicious. Only complaint we had was there wasn’t a high chair for our 1 year old, so she had to sit on our laps for the whole meal. Other than that, this was easily the best gyro we’ve had in Tulsa!

The food at this place is great and so is the value. Gyros Palace makes up for what it lacks in atmosphere with its food. The gyros are always tasty and you can get a combo with fries and a drink for a good deal. This is one of my favorite spots in Tulsa for a casual weekend lunch. Stop in and try it out. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Been wanting to try this place for some time. Popped in for an Early lunch. This place is clean, not really nice inside, more dive-like, but respectably clean. I am the only one here at 11:30am along with what I assume is the owner/operator. After perusing the picture menu board I settle on a #2 combo, gyro samdwich, greek salad, and drink. The operator upsells me on hummus and pita. I accept his offer and he goes to work on my meal. The gyro meat is on a vertical spit as you would expect. The meat is sliced and heads to the griddle to lightly toast. Pita is also toasted for both gyro and hummus. A few short minutes later I am back at the counter gathering my tray. The hummus and hot pita are first to try. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Solid effort, no bitter garlic taste, just mildly flavored hummus topped with the ubiquitous stale ground paprika. The warm pita is awesome and appreciated. Should be nited that the pita is not a pocket type here closer to lavash in substance. On to the salad, which I must say lacks slightly in appearance. What it lacked by looking sloppy on the plate it made up for in size. Loads of shredded lettuce topped with diced tomato, cucumber, blk olives, italian dressing and loads of feta. This is a side dish. Its fine for what it is and a somewhat healthy sub for fries. The main attraction is the gyro sandwich. It is substatial. Probably close to a pound in weight. The same delicious toasted bread, loads of gryo meat, greek yogurt(no tatziki), lettuce, tomato, and feta. All ingredients are good and combine well for solid flavor. Nothing mind-blowing, just as solid a gyro as you can find in Tulsa. All-in-all an excellent sandwich. Finally, tho the owner/operator was not intrusive, he did ask how my meal was about half way through. That is a nice personal touch.

Been eating at this place for years and I am ashamed it has taken so long for me to review it. This place is the epitome of that great food/great price kind of eatery. The gyros value meal is a fantastic deal but there are other things on the menu that are as good. My fav is the double bacon cheeseburger special. I love the seasoned salt on my fries and the baklava maybe the best in town. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Have been frantic to find a decent gyro in town for months. It didn’t occur to me to «yelp» a place until today… I was not disappointed. Gyro Palace is wonderful!!! Right in my neighborhood and was just what I had been looking for. The owner was kind, the place was clean and quiet but the gyro and Greek salad were perfectly flavored. I have to say, there was a little more feta than I wanted on the gyro but I am sure many wouldn’t complain. It was a great surprise to find this gem right in my own backyard. This place has been here for 17 years… go check it out!

My wife and I found this place after the ice storms Tulsa experienced at the end of 2007, beginning of 2008, as it was one of the few restaurants open immediately following the initial storm. Although we live near the University of Tulsa, at 11th and Harvard, we had to drive all the way to 31st and Yale before we found a place open for business and luckily for us it was the Gyros Palace. Since then we have visited many times and are consistently impressed and after having another wonderful Gyros for lunch today, I felt I needed to share my secret with fellow Unilocalers. Although I can’t speak for the other items on the menu, I do know you won’t be disappointed with the Gyros!
