Health Source – The Spa

I was very interested in their non surgical lipo so I made an appointment for a consultation. The spa is joined with a chiropractor’s office and they also have a nurse practitioner working their that can help you with weight loss/​management (i.e. weight-​loss pills, injections etc.) The spa looked very nice and clean and the staff seemed very nice. my consultation was ok. DR. was friendly and she gave me additional info on their weight loss clinic. I wss also asked if i wanted to talk to their nurse practitioner and discuss about hiw she csn hwlp me lose weight. I agreed and after talking to her forn a bit was given a prescription for weight loss meds. I was informed that my health insurance will pay for that office visit and lab work needed. After I received my RX and was headed out the door I was called back to the front desk and informed that there was a $ 25 consultation fee for when I spoke to the Dr. Regarding their non surgical lipo. I was really taken back by this fee since I was not informed of it when making the apt. Or when I arrived to their office. I was going to go ahead and make my apt for the contour slim services but because of the consultation fee I would rather go somewhere else where I felt more value and not manipulated or con for my money.
