The workers here are slow and inefficient. They are also consistently late to appointments. My driver (the old man with a bald top with the sides slicked down) from the Toyota dealer to the Hertz rental place was a terrible driver and almost got us into an accident several times.

There were not enough employees available and had to wait over 45 minutes to receive car. For most of the wait there was not a single person at the counter to greet other customers. When the car was returned the counter was again empty and had to wait over 20 min. for some one to show up. At return asked for further explanation on an issue and the employee raised her hand and told me to just listen to her… extremely rude. I then did not receive a final receipt because of some insurance issue on the day of drop off (the issue that was never fully explained to me). It was finally emailed to me 3 days later after several phone calls. I will say that the man I spoke with on the phone to obtain my receipt was very courteous.

The customer service is so bad that it’s almost hilarious. I’ve dealt with the manager and the driver and they clearly hate their jobs. They both act like they’re doing you a favor by doing their job. Here’s the things: this was a corporate rental. I don’t care what kind of car I get or any extra features– just needed a car. Apparently asking to be picked up for your care then dropped off-​less than 3 miles away– is A LOT to ask.

Do yourself a favor and ignore this place. Classic Seinfeld dodge– take the reservation, but don’t hold the reservation. I was going to give this place a shot since I could get a rental without paying a shitload in airport taxes and fees. Made a reservation a week ago for a SUV with satellite radio since I’m driving all over Texass. Showed up and of course they didn’t have what I asked for. Figured as a Hertz Gold member I would get decent treatment but no-​go. This dump doesn’t have any real selection of vehicles, the office looks like crap and apparently the people working there are incompetent as well. The temptation would be to try it for the reduced price but if you can’t get what you reserved what’s the point.
