Ihloff Salon & Day Spa

I just went yesterday and saw Audrea and Se was amazing. I already have my next appt scheduled. They are a bit expensive but I’ve learned that you get what you pay for and I’d rather pay more for a cut and color that I love rather than something I dislike. The salon itself is very clean and neat, and service was quick.

I saw Shelly today Ihloff on Memorial and she was phenomenal. She was meticulous and paid attention to what i wanted and asked my opinion every step of the way. She is a higher level stylist (senior designer) so it is a bit more expensive than the lower tiered stylist, but it’s well worth the money. She was very friendly, as were all the staff. They came by and asked me if i needed anything (drink, magazine, etc.) twice. Also, they play great music. :)

Really upsetting experience. I had been there years before and had a good experience, but decided to try again when I was back in Tulsa and had the worst haircut of my life. Horrible choppy, uneven layers. I went back to have it fixed and she just made it worse and acted like I was ridiculous and didn’t know how to style my hair. Seeing how my stylist (Sarah) has another bad review on here, I think the employees need to be trained more. I would love a refund so I can use that money on the regular trims I now need in order to slowly get my hair back to looking good.

Cute little salon but I think that’s all it has going for it. I’ve come to this salon about 3x and EVERY time I come I get a terrible haircut. I keep giving this place a chance but never again. I wanted a cute trendy cut for my hair and I asked my stylist, Sarah, [protégé 2… honestly shouldn’t even be working there] and she said ‘well i’ll do whatever you want me to do’. Um you are the stylist you are suppose to give me ideas. So I said just layers in the back and something cute in the front.
She wasn’t all that friendly [she was probably irritated with me for about 15 mins late BUT I called in advance and asked the receptionist if i’m too late and if so I can reschedule but she said it was fine]. So anyways I could tell she was doing choppy work but trusted her and didn’t say anything. After it was all done, the layers on the right side of my face were about 1 full inch shorter than the layers on the left side of my face! I wanted to cry but I didn’t because I kept telling myself it was just hair and it will grow back.
The rest of the layers in my head were SO uneven. I couldn’t believe she even has a license to cut hair. It was seriously the worst cut i’ve ever gotten. I could have gone to a $ 6 asian hair cut place and gotten something better. She offered to even out the layers in my face but I said hell no. I don’t want both sides looking ridiculous. I was so upset when I left. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO AVEDA.
My hair looks like terrible :(I’m just keeping it up until it grows a few inches so I can get a proper cut somewhere else.

Nice little salon. I went with my mother in law, and we did the package that included lunch. The massage was nice, and so was the facial. I just wish that the changing areas/​bathrooms were a bit larger. They were very nice, but quite a small space. The lunch was tasty and healthy. I also got my hair cut and returned for highlights. The staff were all very nice!
