I had my wedding gown altered there and they did a fantastic job. She was able to get it done quickly and did so well the first time I didn’t need a second fitting. Reasonably priced as well!

They hemmed my daughters prom dress and it was about an inch too long. They said they could not get to it for another two weeks which was after the prom. My daughter stepped on the dress and tore it during the prom. I took it back and asked that they shorten it so that it no longer looked torn. They JUST shortened where it was torn so the hem is now uneven. I don’t know if this because they have such poor english or just poor workmanship but we are looking for a different tailor this prom season!

I have used Joann’s for years for all of my tailoring needs. They have always done a wonderful job for me – including essentially re-​making several bridesmaid dresses which included a lot of detail work. It definitely was not inexpensive but that work was always exceptional. I’ve also had several friends have Joann alter their wedding dresses and they have been very pleased as well. The turn around time is usually 1 – 2 weeks but if you need things faster they’re usually good about it. I always recommend Joann’s.

I get all my tailoring done here. They always do a fantastic job. Incredibly friendly and always professional, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

I would not recommed this tailor. I have tried them twice and both times it was a terrible experience. First time, they hemmed my pants too short and did not leave enough too add any length at all. My pants were ruined. The second time, they put a shorter zipper replacement in than was the original and did not finish the hem basting and it was coming undone! They told me the zipper was the same length as the original I wanted replaced, which was not true. If that was the case, how come I cannot get my pants on now!!! These people are not professsionals at all. I went to Vo’s on the corner of 61st and Sheridan and was very pleased.
