I visited this brookside restaurant on Monday May 232016. I was the first customer to enter the building at 10:29am. I was pleased that they opened a minute early for me! I walked to the counter and am politely greeted by a nice young lady. She asked me for here or to go, and I said to go I ordered: 2 chicken strips and 4 biscuits which came out 5.02 $ and I paid with a 20 $ bill and 2 pennies so my change was 15 $ even. Simple math right? The cashier shuts the drawer and walks away to get my food she returns with my food and says have a nice day. That’s when I proceed to say politely to her that she forgot my change. She call the manager over and tells her that she forgot to give me my change. The manager proceeds to pull the drawer and count it I ask her why she is going through all that just to give me my change it was 15 $ exactly. That’s when she replied yes but my employee said she already gave your change, so I have to count the draw to see if you are telling me the truth. Now I’m a restaurant manager myself so this rather irritated me I clearly heard the employee state that she had forgotten to give me my change. I stated just that to the manager and she called me a liar flat out at this point I asked for the franchise owners phone number so I could comment on the service I had revived and she refused. So I said I would like my money back and her name because I would be getting in touch with the corporate office. I looked for her name tag and it said Kevin I asked her for her real name assuming she was just wearing the tag as a joke at this time she violently slapped my refund in my hand and called me a sexist because I wouldn’t believe her name was Kevin. As a restaurant manager myself I would be appauled at any of my employees if they treated one of our customers with such disrespect and cynicism as I was treated on Monday. thank you Kevin and have a great day. hopefully your manager or district manager sorts out your name.

Just as Jennifer F. said, the manager is terrible. I ordered 3 extra tenders in drive through which I didn’t get. This has happened before but I thought I would give another shot. When I got to the window the manager was berating the drive thru person which I could tell made him nervous and distracted. When I called she said I could bring it all back to get my money. When I told her I saw her berate her employee she told me that I didn’t know what she had to deal with in the store. She said she couldn’t refund my money unless I went back but what she could do was pray for me.

Drove thru, ordered 12 pc meal + upcharge for white meat. Got home, had 9 wings, 3 breasts. Called restaurant, after being told I was wrong, she packed it herself, a manager came on the phone. I explained the situation, the only response: bring the food back and they would fix. I explained I wasn’t driving 20 minutes to return it, I could send a picture. The employee begins yelling in the back that I could fake the picture. Really? Because I always have 3 – 6 extra KFC wings just lying around? Never once did they say, gosh, sorry your order was messed up. Was told they were just trying to take care of current customers so they could only take care of me if I came back. Just don’t…there are closer, cleaner, better run KFC’s around. This is the epitome of Lethal Weapon’s famous«they always *$!* you in the drive-thru» And they do, because this business just doesn’t care. When I told the manager I was posting on Unilocal,she said I was vindictive… no, how about Honest and your establishment has no regard for it’s customers!

This is the worst KFC I have ever been in & I have been going to KFC for over 40 years… We went in ordered broiled checken brests, they had none, decided to go with a wing & a leg, The gave us a reeipt & tore the survey part off. Wanted to let someone know they didn’t have the items we wanted at lunch & they said we couldn’t have the survey part. Finally demanded it & after calling her manager she gave it to us. Then tried to charge for a couple of sauce packs. Decided we didn’t want the food after that & asked for our money back, took another 10 minutes after another call to the missing manager. This place should be shut down ASAP.

Went ther3e this evening. Ordered a 2 piece meal. The Mashed potatoes were tasteless and watery. Usually my favorite thing to get. The mac and cheese was NASTY and watery. The chicken. It was just plain greasy. By far the worst KFC I can remember .Just say NO

I’ve never been in this kfc but Are power is out do to the ice storm so We was looking for a place to eat dinner, Very clean! The food was great! The staff was very nice! & we even got chocolate chip cookies :) that was warm and yummmmmmmmmmmmy!

This restaurant was out of my way but I was craving chicken. I used the drive thru and was greeted with a order taker that after me asking for a moment said«are you ready yet?» I ordered and waited for 5 minutes at window at 12:45pm lunch rush. I had to ask the girl for my drink and yet again utensils and condiments. I get home 20 miles and while loading microwave notice I was shorted a mashed potatoes and gravy and 2 nuggets of a 6 pack. I called store and had rude manager. Will most likely avoid KFC for a while. Very poor service.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Brookside, but I had a chance to go shopping there today. Great part of Tulsa and plenty to do and eat. Unfortunately, I was on a schedule and had to get lunch on the rush. I really wanted to grab lunch at The Brook, but I didn’t have time. Then I remembered KFC right up the road. I’ve been eating at KFC since I was a kid(bell bottoms were popular back then) and I’ve never had a complaint. Today I did. The service and staff was great, as usual, but the food was not up to par. The chicken was fine, but both sides were room temperature. Not to mention they tasted bland and stale. Maybe it was a slow time of the day(there was only one other couple in there when we were) but I would like to get my food at least warm and somewhat fresh when I pay for it. I hope this was a one-time thing, and it won’t happen again. The dining area was clean and the crew were very friendly, but it all comes down to what they serve to the customer.
