We sat at the bar. The lady barkeep was kind and a consummate professional. Great drink menu. We didn’t order dinner but the menu is extensive and the entrees looked good at other tables. Great space for large parties and also plenty of little nooks if you’re looking for something more intimate. This place is highly rated for good reason.

From outside looks like an overdone Irish pub, you know, like McNellie’s. But the food is excellent(shepherd’s pie, fish and chips are all good). The wait staff is polite and friendly. The crowd is stodgy but OK. The drink selection is really good, though there is a preponderance of scotches for an Irish pub. Recommend highly for the food and overall experience.

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is awesome and it really makes you feel like your in a different place! The food and drinks, awesome! I had the Chatsworth! One of the best places for dinner in Tulsa! The only issue that I had was that the service could have been just a bit more friendly but I will definitely come back again!

Ate here twice in 2 days. Once with a friend and the second time with a large group. Everything about the pub feels like you’ve stepped into Ireland. Great service. I’ll definitely put this on my «must eat» list when I’m back in Tulsa. Had the excellent fish and chips the first night and the 7 sisters the second night. I’ll have to try a Boxty when I return.

The food was exallent! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menus. Atmosphere was what I always imagined a Irish pub would be like.

Dinner on a Friday night at 5:30 with a party of 20. I was able to make reservations on the phone on Monday and when I did they were friendly and sounded excited to have us in. When we arrived at 5:30 they were indeed ready. Could not seat us all at one table but we were in one area at two separate tables of 10. Service was fast and friendly. I selected this place for such a large party because they have a lot of variety on the menu — from traditional Irish dishes to burgers, salads, pasta, and even some Mexican offerings. My dish was chicken covered with shrimp, crab, and lobster in a white sauce. It was delicious. I did not hear any complaints about food from anyone in our group. Good selection of beer and whiskey but surprised that for an Irish pub they did not offer more on tap than Guinness, Smithwickes, and Harp e.g. would be nice to have Murphy’s Irish Stout offered on tap. Check was closed out easy. They included an 18% gratuity as expected, but over the phone they told me that was not automatic. I gave her additional gratuity to the 18% but I was confused at first because I was originally told it would not be included. It’s Cherry Street, so of course parking is a headache. It’s a pub, so it’s going to be noisy. This is a popular spot so I’d encourage reservations. Overall great experience — highly recommend.

My Nephew and I embarked upon a fantastic food adventure when we happened upon Kilkenny’s in Tulsa… fantastic imported ambiance from Ireland has the Allure of an Irish Bar and the texture of great Irish prepared food… We enjoyed crab cakes as an appetizer(beware of the dipping sauce’s jalapeño kick if you are faint of heart) …Eric enjoyed a non-Irish favorite of Chicken Cordon Bleu… and I enjoyed a «Boxty» filled with seafood … Service was fantastic… We enjoyed the personal interaction with Owner Brett … Jess was our server and without a doubt she did an equally fantastic job of personalizing exceptional service … Of course… catching up with family members is always most memorable… but I am really happy we happened upon Kilkenny’s …which made for a perfect evening…

I have to take a star off for an inconsistent kitchen. The service and atmosphere are always 5 star. The food is hit and miss. When it is good, it is great. Today, the fish and chips were room temp and soggy. The sticky toffee pudding was thin and less tasty, just too sweet.

I didn’t really care for my food, but the two people i was with really liked theirs, so i am basing my rating more on their views. Beer was good, not a large selection.

Sadly, I have to adjust my review finally. During our visit today, my wife ordered the Black and Blue Burger Medium Well. What she received was a Mushroom and Swiss Burger, well done. When we brought this to our server’s attention, her response was, «What should we do about this?» in a condescending voice. No offer to remake or comp the entrée at all. Instead, she brought a bowl of Blue Cheese crumbles and bacon. Unacceptable. I ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage. It was lackluster, to say the least. The cabbage was boiled with no seasoning. The potatoes and carrots weren’t cooked well at all and the Corned Beef was blah. To leave this on a high note, the Reuben Rolls were amazing as was the Fried Avocado. I understand that everyone has a bad day now and then. Our checks were also incorrect with our friend’s appetizer on our check. I really hate to complain but I expect a little better service from Kilkennys as we have had over the past decade.

Gosh! It’s hard to wrap one’s head around a place like this. HUGE space, serving food until 1AM. Great bar and great service. We always get the lobster pasta with linguine instead of rotini. If you’re at a loss for where to go, get yourself to Kilkenny’s.

Right in the heart of Cherry St, Kilkennys is a staple. Every time I’ve gone the place has been packed, which could attest to how good it is. Be prepared to stand or make your way to the bar. The menu is HUGE, so order a drink and take your time to find what you’d really like. The food is pretty good, I’m always full when I leave. The shepard’s pie or fish/chips are some of my favorites.

The food here is FANTASTIC! This is one of my favorite places to take out of town guest. The atmosphere and décor really add to the experience. The menu is expansive and I have never had something I didn’t enjoy. My favorite dishes are the fish and chips and the seafood shepards pie!

A Tulsa staple! Sadly, it took me too long to try this place out. Came here for a weekday lunch. It wasn’t too busy. Service was good. Only complaint was that I got a burger(the Gut Grinder, I think) that came with bacon on it according to the menu, but then they added an additional charge for bacon. Double charging me? Seriously? The burger was good, but really messy. Fries were eh. I’ve definitely had better. Love the décor inside, though.

Sometimes the faux-Irish atmosphere can be a bit irritating, but I think the food here is good. It’s not stellar, but I’ve never been disappointed in anything I’ve had. You can go the traditional Irish route or if that’s not your thing they have some great burger choices. They also have a full bar if you are one who likes to imbibe and can make just about anything you wish. Even though it’s a pub I’ve never felt out of place when I’ve brought my kids. Kilkennys is a great any occasion type of place.

You bet I’m coming back! Couldn’t get enough of it. Too bad this place is always so busy and for a good reason! 9 pages worth of options to pick from Great selection of drinks. My apple cider was a bit on the strong side but hey the Irish like to drink so I’ll let them go for that Hubs enjoyed his clam chowder and bangers & mash. He said he was stuffed and couldn’t finish his bangers & mash yet proceeded to eat the rest of my Boxty! Definitely try their Boxtys. They are spectacular! Loved love the cobbler! Ooey gooey yumminess with a sprinkling of biscuits on top.
