OK, can I say this is the best kept secret in town but it should not be kept a secret: If you haven’t eaten here, you have missed some of the best lunch food in the town. The cookies are delicious, gypsy tonic is completely rejuvenating during the hot summer months and my favorite is the egg salad sandwich. This is the kind of place that is so good, you get the urge to go by and eat there by about 11:50 in the morning when lunch choices come up. Can’t resist heading that way for a great lunch.

Gypsy is the perfect place for something light & refreshing. I’ve always seen them on 11th street but it’s later on during the day when they’re not open. I finally looked up their hours & decided to check them out today. I got the Chic’ Adobo with Goat Cheese sandwich. Real good. I liked the portion of it & the red pepper salsa as well. It doesn’t look like your typical salsa, it looked more like a sauce & it was smooth. I also got the Gypsy Tonic, & I’m so glad that I did! I recommend that to anyone that goes! Very refreshing. I wish I knew what was in it it tasted like a blend of strawberry & orange along with tonic(of course). I even got something sweet(which is something I usually don’t do when I grab something to eat), the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, good as well. The ladies that worked there were SUPER friendly. Food didn’t take long to wait on as well. I’m glad that I finally checked them out.

LOVE Lola’s! We hire them for all our catering events + I love to hit their spot on 11th St. Everything is yummy, I’ve tried it all! Salads, specialty sandwiches, the Burrito! Gypsy Tonic, yes please! Their custom cakes, definitely! They’re rockin’ it in their Airstream!

The food is great! Don’t forget to try a dessert or the Okie Tonic(no, it’s not alcoholic).

You can’t go wrong with Lola’s. One of the earliest on Tulsa’s food truck scene, Lola makes excellent food, serving stylishly from a killer Airstream trailer. When I was a kid, my mom and I used to go to the(Now long gone) Middle Path Café, for the egg salad sandwiches. Lola has the recipe now, and serves it exactly as I remember all those years ago. It’s amazing how a simple taste can remind you of a delicious, long-forgotten experience. The Shiny Bullet is a great burrito that, wrapped in foil, looks just like the Airstream. Except it’s for your mouth. Good stuff. My favorite menu item is the Chic Adobo, a chicken sandwich with goat cheese, really good bread, and awesome sauce. Super flavorful. Start with this guy. Again, there’s really nothing with which you can go wrong, so either check out my recommendations, or just roll the dice. You’ll be fine either way.

Lolas is such a fun food truck, awesome airstream, great seating, and pinion wood smells from the chiminea are always in the air. All the food on the menu in unique and flavorful but my favorite are the delish chicken tacos,(add) avocado with the homemade romesca(AMAZING!!!).
