I hadn’t realized that I never wrote a review for McAlister’s so here goes… What would you like to know? How’s their sweet tea? Well on a scale of 1 – 10 with 1 being horribly disgusting and 10 being amazingly awesome I’d give it a solid 10. You just can’t hardly beat McAlister’s sweet tea. I have to say though when I was growing up I thought my mom’s sun tea was amazing. I love going to McAlister’s. It’s a great place for lunch or dinner for that matter. Great sandwiches and soups and I have become a fan of their salads as well. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and great food. Two thumbs up!

I went to this location for lunch today, and like always they were slammed with customers. Most of the cashiers were merely teenagers, but were all very courteous. After waiting for almost 20 mins and still not receiving our order, we approached the counter to ask if it would be coming soon. The manager quickly apologized and brought our orders right away! He then refunded us for our order and even went above and beyond by giving us a voucher for a free entrée. I was very impressed with the way the manager took charge. We were not upset or disgruntled by how slow the service was and I will continue to eat at this location.

Good food. Went at 6pm so there was a line too order… about a 15 minute wait. French dip was good and served quickly. Not too crowded when we were there.

Although always busy for lunch, staff pays attention in making sure all are helped and totally friendly. Decent prices and portions, food is very tasty.

We got our meals to go. After a 5 min ride home we opened the bags. My grilled cheese was soggy and missing the chips. The tortilla chips for the ultimate nachos consisted of 2handfuls. Was not impressed.

My all-time favorite deli! Their Mac ‘n’ Cheese and sweet tea is the BEST! This deli has been my go to lunch option on any day throughout my college life. Now that I’m married and paying off loans, I don’t get to visit as often. :(But I definitely recommend this place to everyone and I take any out of town guests here for a good bite! :)

Delicious Broccoli and Cheese soup and hearty salad. Walking distance from the hotel. Will go back again. Have to try their famous ice tea. :-)

I have eaten at several of the McAlister’s over the past several years and was astonished at the complete lack of customer service, organizational skills, and tact of the staff at this particular location. After having placed our order, we waited almost 45 minutes for our order to be brought to the table. Even considering that it was a «peak period» of the day, this was an amazingly long wait for any establishment. Upon delivery of our order, we discovered that one of the sandwiches had not been made to specifications. We alerted our waitress to the issues and was promptly told that the kitchen was busy. Either we ate them«as is» or we would probably wait a considerable amount of time to get the order corrected. We opted to wait for them to take care of the issues. We did end up waiting quite some time; 30 minutes. When our food came out the second time, it had obviously been«wiped», not remade, and it was stone cold. When we made our observations known, the waitress responded with; «I don’t know what they do in the kitchen, I am just a server!» I then asked for the manager. The manager on duty said that due to the volume of customers, that some mistakes would be made. I agreed that statistically that would happen, but what had me concerned was the lack of genuine effort to correct the mistake. He then proceeded to tell us that his staff was doing their best. My observations were that if this was, indeed, their best, then it wasn’t good enough for me or my dinner companion! I then asked for a refund. The manager at first offerered to refund only the one sandwich since, in his words, the other one was edible or it would have been sent back as well. To which I replied that his attitude more than offset any complaints I had about the quality of the food and a full refund was expected. By this time our conversation had drawn the attention of the tables around us.(It never got heated or loud, but it was obvious to those around us that there was an issue.) As a result, the manager offered a full refund and immediately changed his whole demeanor since we had garnered an audience. He handed me the refund and asked us to leave. I did, intending not to return. This should have been an easy remedy: make the food correctly and have it delivered in a timely manner. However, the mounting excuses and lack of genuine concern made it a habit changing experience. I still recommend other McAlister’s locations, but suggest you avoid this one!
