Midtown Hardware

Local Hardware Store, what more could you want?! This place is my favorite hardware store. They are always kind and courteous. I always seem to have a thousand questions and they are so willing to help.

It always seems like small hardware stores are kinda depressing. Midtown Hardware is a small hardware store on 31^st st. They carry a lot of hard to find door hinges, window cranks, and other random stuff that you can’t find at larger hardware stores for older homes in the area. I was able to find some rare window cranks on a home from the 60’s. They also do glass cutting, window screen repair and key making. You can also find all sorts of other hardware and tools that you might need. Or pretend you need like I do. Midtown Hardware also carry a lot of gardening tools and supplies.
One down side to this place is sad and lonely feeling you get when you walk in. The employees don’t seem like they want to be there and the lack of customers leads me to believe that Lowes and Home Depot are running these smaller businesses into the ground. The prices aren’t as low as Lowes or Home Depot either.
