This place is perfect for those who don’t have time to meal prep(or for those who haven’t made time for it yet) and want to eat as healthy as possible without being hungry often. All of the entrees I’ve bought have over 25g of protein for 300 – 400 calories, and they keep me fuller for longer than any frozen TV dinner or fresh salad/wrap. As others mentioned, the meals can be hit or miss, so you have to find what you like and sometimes your favorites will sell out for the day. I typically get the breakfast tacos, chicken tacos, and spinach & chicken enchiladas then add salsa on them at home every week. I love them! A lot of times I only eat half the entrée and save the rest for 2 – 3 hours later. They will keep you FULL, which is why I will pay $ 7-$ 8 a meal. Their meals have helped me maintain a healthy eating habit, and it’s especially easy to access when going to/from Lifetime gym. It’s worth it to try a few meals if you’re serious about your diet and exercise plan! The staff is knowledgeable about everything too.

This is a great option for people transitioning to meal prep. The food is pretty good, there are some dishes that are hit or miss. Limited vegetarian and vegan options, but they do have a good selection of gluten free foods. The service is good and the store was CLEAN. It can get pricey depending on what you get, and watch the carbs on some of the meals. To get that 5th star from me, maybe a little less expensive and more vegan options. I meal prep but I used My Fit Foods meals for a much healthier option of «fast food».

There are some good entrees at Fit Foods, and some average. You’ll have to figure it out for yourself. What makes this 4 stars to me? A new mindset about food. When I have things in the frig, ready to heat and eat, I eventually stop obsessing about food. Seems like I’m always thinking about my next meal, which can be detrimental to the waistline… Fit Foods to the rescue. My faves are Lean Lemon Turkey, Good morning Sunshine and Omega me Crazy Salmon. You’re going to get educated on portion control, too. I keep their protein bars on hand, and the vitamins. I find I’m satisfied after each meal and am not tempted to search for a snack. Bonus. The south location is just a pick up station… all the cooking is done on Cherry Street. I find they are sometimes out of my favorites later in the day, so have better luck ordering on line and picking up a bulk order for the week. For me it’s mostly about the convenience of a healthy meal, putting an end to «what’s for dinner», and keeping myself on track.
