I just went to a wedding reception at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. This is a great location. Right in the center of the Blue Dome district. Plenty of room for at least 200 guests. There is very nice architecture and enough outside space as well. High ceilings and nice lighting add to the mood of the party. There was room for 2 bars and a photo booth in the«lobby». This use to be a train station, so there are also lots of cool historic pictures throughout. I would check the speakers beforehand. We could not really hear what the DJ was saying, due bad acoustics in the room. Other than that, I love this space!

This is such a historic landmark! It is Tulsa’s old Union Depot Building, also known as the Jazz Depot. Their music arts programming and cultural outreach is great! They offer great live entertainment(jazz, blues, gospel, latin!) trying to create unity through music(their motto). Oklahoma has an amazing and diverse music heritage and I love that they are continuing that legacy. Check out their website to see what concerts, community-based arts programming and special events are coming up. They also rent the facilities for special events. I love it when there is salsa dancing here. It is such a great space and right next to the center of the universe.

Went to a wedding here. Really cool space full of memorabilia. The wedding was nice and the building itself, an old train depot, was neat enough to take some pics of. Wish they had more history than what they had though as the overall size of their collection seemed a bit small.

Awesome building. It was originally the Tulsa train depot. Now they refer to the building as the Jazz Depot. There’s concerts going on most weekends and some week days. Check their website for upcoming events. The concert hall is where the main atrium for the depot was so the room is wide and tall the way they have the stage set up. It’s not the best configuration for live sound but its ok. It’s a fun place to listen to a concert and myself being a musician and having played here a few times its definitely a fun play to play at. There is a hallway with pictures of famous jazz artists from Oklahoma and a very small amount of memorabilia. I wish they would get more memorabilia and artifacts to make it more of a museum and a real hall of fame.
