I used to love this place but I don’t know what happened to it. Recently went back after the grand re-opening and we had terrible service! They brought part of my fajitas out but not the meat or tortillas. I waited for 7 more minutes before tracking down another waiter to find my waitress to see what was going on. He ended up bringing it out for me. My original waitress never came back. Then we had to wait 20 minutes for our check! There was a communication issue with our server who couldn’t understand that we wanted to split the queso. Another 7 minutes later he came back and said they will split the queso when we check out. The lady at the front was as rude as could be when she told me she wouldn’t split the queso one ticket only… Honestly paying for the queso was not a big deal, it was their attitude towards me when I politely told her what the waiter had told me. I will not be returning.

I went there for an aunt’s birthday party – there were about 12 of us. In a nut shell: Good qualities, our aunt got a tequila shot with her birthday song, the restaurant was practically empty, and the chips were warm. The service was nice, but… Bad qualities: I never got the queso we ordered(twice). I got my food after a reminder and everyone else had finished theirs. The margarita was terrible(really, really bad, I cannot express this enough) and $ 11.00. Two separate parts of my entrée tasted burned, flavorless, and generally unappealing. My husband not not impressed with his either. Overall, we payed $ 46.00 for two drinks(neither of us thought were good enough to finish) and two entrées(again, left unfinished not for fullness, but lack of interest). Other people had similar, if less dramatic problems. My long irritated rant: The chips were warm, that was a plus, but the salsa was runny, weak, and we kept running out. I made excuses for them when they did not bring me queso after my husband and I had ordered it and then reminded them 10 minutes later. I never got it. My husband and I made eye contact and shrugged when we first tried the margarita; it was less than we expected, but this seemed like a cheap restaurant, so no biggee. It just tasted overly like cheap sweet/sour mixture and was lacking in tequilla. When I first heard we were going out for mexican, I was looking forward to clearing ATLEAST one drink, and could not finish half of my first because the taste was that questionable. I have never not finished a margarita! Everyone got their food except for me(and they had a terrible time getting the right food to the right people before then). We then told them, they had forgotten me after I realized that everyone had food(some were halfway finished) and they were no longer bringing other food. By the time I got my food, the people sitting around me had already had their plates cleared. I finally got my food(the fajita taco salad) and it looked great! It tasted like the vegetables had burned, the guacamole was oddly sweet, and the fried taco bowl tasted as burned as the fajita vegetables. My husband said his chimichanga was okay, but that is was much smaller than he expected, and the filler food was sub par. At this point I wanted to get out. I had not had half my dinner or margarita, because they just weren’t the calorie worthy glory I expected from mexican food. I love mexican and am not a picky mexican food eater, but this was one of the two worst experiences I have ever had eating out(the other was an Olive Garden in texas). My husband and I were considering handing money to my father-in-law on the way out, but we are glad we didn’t because we would have guessed we owned $ 15.00 less. Those terrible margaritas were $ 11.00! I don’t mind paying that for a good margarita! I will gladly pay that for a good margarita. this was not it. Two entrees and two margaritas and we owed $ 46.00. We could have eaten at Ted’s for that and gotten two margaritas. Sorry about the rant; it was terrible. Totally not money or calorie worthy. I vote for Ted’s and Mr. Mambos.

Went to one on Peoria SERVICE: waiter couldnt speak english, hostess had to keep asking us what we wanted after we had told server. Service slow. FOOD: worst f’ing quesidilla i’ve ever had in my life. Was soggy. Was all shredded chicken inside with barely any cheese. So thin. Taco Bell has better quesidillas than this s@*t. so disappointing. Guacemole was good though. ATMOSPHERE: typical oklahomans, a teen hangout too, no special décor or ambiance would not return ever again

Is 1 the least star you can give? WOW! This was my first visit to Tulsa and the one thing that stands out is how nice people are. Not so at Senior Tequila. We had no fewer than 5 servers arrive at our table with increasingly awful attitude. The final straw was a team of two who arrived to show us the 48 ounce glass for the Margarita we ordered. SHOWUSTHEGLASS? As if we were too stupid to know that was a lot of Margarita? We left.

Dinner Saturday 8:00pm. Seated 6 people fairly quick, restaurant busy. Service good. Fajitas combo steak, chicken, & shrimp, enough for my husand & I. Meat sliced very thin, could almost be overcooked, satisfied both of us. Beans & rice Ok. By the time we left it was quite noisy between crowd & music.

I can’t believe no one has reviewed this yet! This place has the absolute best tortillas I have ever had in my life. They are made fresh on the premises, and always arrive scalding hot from the grill(I guess it’s the grill). The cheese dip and salsa are great, delicious, wonderful. They have good vegetarian options, yummy cheese enchiladas, refried beans, chile relleno. I prefer the location on Brookside… it’s not as crowded and noisy as the one on 51st or the one near Memorial. Go for the tortillas and you wil be waaayyyy hooked.
