Been eating here for a couple of years now since it across the street from the job. There many places like this in California and along the southern border, small mercados that are also eateries. They have a simple menu but everything on it is very good and has a Cali style of mexican cooking. The family that runs the place is very nice as well as very accomodating. They can make just about everything and if it not on the menu just ask. My favorite is the pollo rostizado which is only available on weekends, slow roasted chicken, which is served with rice and beans for a very reasonable price.
This place also a small grocery and their prices on meats and vegetables are very competitive.
