Beware! Taco Bueno is a wonderful chain, but this location has been bad news for over a year now. Despite repeated attempts to warn the head office about the terrible reputation this store is giving the entire chain, they apparently continue to ignore me since there has been no change whatsoever, in fact, it is getting worse. The lights in the main lobby have been out for a long, long time. At least a year. The front cash registers have not worked for months. They try to remember your order and run to ring it up on the drive-up register(usually getting something wrong). If the PUBLIC areas have such shoddy maintenance, can we imagine what horrors there are in the FOOD areas? The service is abysmal. The store has been shockingly understaffed for a long time. Today was typical of my earlier visits here. Waited for 5 minutes before someone even noticed me.(I was a lucky one. I saw 3 groups of people get disgusted with waiting and just leave). The drink machine had zero ice in it, and when I told them, they just shrugged. No offer to get me any from the back. I have previously been in the middle of an order there and the manager just took off to go work on a drive-up order — while I was still talking! Another time, they shut down the drive-up entirely, because there were only TWO people working there! An elderly couple got angry and said they had been waiting for over 10 minutes for their order and the guy said they were working on it. They said«No one is fixing anything. The manager is back there dealing with FedX!»(This was true). 5 more minutes passed and they finally got their order. They were the only ones waiting!!! I also overheard them requesting sour cream. They were told it would cost them $ 1.79. For one tiny cup?!? I knew that was a lie when I heard it, so did they. I just looked it up on their website, and it is only 99 cents. I am tired of this place smearing the reputation of a great restaurant. I am also just as tired of the upper management utterly ignoring the layers of problems that exist here. Drive a couple of miles to another store. That’s what I usually do. I check back every now and then to see if things are fixed. I am fairly sure now that they will never be. Not with that current manager and crew.

Évaluation du lieu : 2 Tulsa, OK
We first started eating at Taco Bueno at this location on East 31st St., Tulsa, OK in 1977. It has always been our favorite fast-food Mexican place. Even when eating here and at another Taco Bueno located on South Peoria and on East 11th Street in the 1990s and early 2000s the food was super. Unfortunately, the past 6 months or so the location on East 31st St. has went downhill. The ground beef used in tacos, bueno chiladas is super salty. Bueno chuladas has less and sauce and cheese on it. The last time I ordered a taco burger(which was good when they first started selling them) the sandwich was mashed. We had ordered a carry-out and the taco burger was put in the bottom of the bag with the rest of the order on top causing it to be mashed down causing it to be mushy. We couldn’t eat all our food, it was just too salty.

Being from San Diego, Ca and minutes away from Mexico, this«Mexican» eatery was in my opinion an Americanized Version of Taco Bell. The food was good, I’m not complaining. I just wasn’t convinced that it was Mexican food. The service was ok and the drive thru is open late. It served its purpose as to provide a late night snack.

Oh my god, this has and always will be my favorite Mexican food restaurant and my 2nd favorite restaurant only next to the chicken lady in Los Angeles. Everything here is great, it’s cheap, it has decent décor, but what makes this the best Mexican food ever is well the food. I don’t know how they do it, but everything here is wonderful. I like the classics best like the regular burrito and I have them add sour cream and onions, um good. Also the«mucho nachos» are almost worth trading a kidney for. As they say I am a «bueno head» lol.

This is one of the good taco bueno locations. Fast food made by hand. Refried beans made fresh each day. The beef and chicken is seasoned pretty good considering this is cheap fast food. The nacho cheese is just velveeta though. This place kept me alive during my college years.

I LOVE Taco Bueno and I visit this one because it is very close to my work. I gave this particular restaurant only 3 stars because I often find stale taco shells, dried up tortillas that crack and let all the beans squeeze out the side and my biggest pet peeve is that they use broken taco shells in their nacho salad. Taco shells are twice as thick as a nacho chip people, come on! I’m not sure if the manager is really into cutting cost at the risk of quality but there have been several times I diverted to the restaurant on 11th street because I now the quality there is right on target.
