Gosh how i love the seafood at this place! The succulent crab cakes are so amazing! I ordered the crab stuffed trout! I mean you can’t go wrong with that!!! It is definitely a favorite spot of ours to go to.

Ate here for birthday dinner. Had the salmon as I was told by the waiter that it was a good choice. The Fish was bland with little to no flavoring as was the rice. I was frustrated as for a $ 28 dish I would put it similar chillis salmon Ocho dinner. The only saving grace was the asparagus that was cooked to perfection. Service was below expectations of this price point. We had dishes that piled up and we’re not cleared until we left. Also we asked for plates for our two children to split the pasta between them. The editor brought out bread plates that were not sufficient so we had to reuse a plate fro the appetizer. Will not be going back

This is going to be my new favorite spot. The décor and the food are amazing. The staff and the owner are incredibly friendly. The customer service is excellent too!

I came here for NYE with another couple. The waiter was young and didn’t know enough about the prefix menu but we were assured that we couldn’t go wrong with any choice(s). The filet that the hubs had was good but not great. We had the choke dip which was fantastic, as everyone reviews it is. We had an app, two entrees, two drinks and the meal was $ 105, could’ve been just the special NYE menu they offered. Its a bit pricey for what it is and I wasn’t diggin’ the décor at all either. Reminded me of late ’90’s…1998? Would go back for drinks w friends maybe but not for a special night out. Oh and I will add, if you want ice in your whiskey or any liquor… they do charge for their ice. I was floored. Its the small things…

Food is good but average. The dish with the most flavor is Pasta Ya Ya but they need some more entrees that people will make a special trip to come back to have. Having said this, if the wine selection had any imagination, the food would be OK. Not sure what the thought process behind the wine selection is but there are wines within their price point that are interesting. We ordered a bottle and when we tasted it, there was no doubt it was going back. This is only the second time that I have ever refused a wine. The second bottle that we ordered met our expectations and we will return to this restaurant.

Service was fine, my complaint is about the ridiculous cost! Ok … A plain spinach salad was $ 10… You could pay extra for a protein. I decided to treat myself and get shrimp with mine. Tasted fine… Nothing special… But it cost $ 10 extra for shrimp. 3 medium sized shrimp. Basically $ 3.33 per shrimp. On the lunch menu. … I was starving and shelled out $ 20 to still be hungry. And I am not a large person!

We had an event at The Bistro last night. We had a group of 21 people and everything was perfect. Julie, the event manager was responsive and helpful in putting together a great set menu. The space was set up so nice and we had plenty of privacy to have conversations, etc. The food was great and the service was impeccable. So glad we chose The Bistro for our event. Thank you!

Great experience during Restaurant Week! The waitress was very attentive, our food was timely and delicious. We live so close, glad to finally make it in! We will be back. Try the fried green tomatoes! The Mango Mule is a must!

The food is just not what it used to be and the service has dropped substantially. Still a nice neighborhood place and the center has brought back Thursday night concerts which are great but make parking a nightmare so plan ahead. Chokes and Cheese are still good, but everything else was meh. Good place for a drink and appetizer but lots of better options in South Tulsa for food.

The Burger was bland. This place is so overpriced it’s not even funny. The scallops sounded delicious. if they hadn’t been so expensive I would’ve got them. I was very disappointed.

Seriously a very classy place, fabulous service, delicious food! I mean I’m never let down coming here. Definitely get the crab cakes, the sauce has a little sweet kick to it but it’s so good! & the Bistro Kobe burger is to die for! It’s a steak burger so you can get it Cooked the way you like your steak, I get mine medium, it has all the good juices etc & their sweet potato fries, the freshest I’ve ever had! So good, and thanks to them I now know they are delicious in ranch! I can never eat it all because I get so full on the complimentary bread and appetizer I order, and they always kindly offer to box it up for me with no hesitation! We need more places like this in Tulsa Ok!

Probably the worst meal I’ve had in Tulsa. Really wanted to like this place because the menu looks decent and its near my house. My husband had a greek chicken salad and I had some kind of stuffed trout. Both were absolutely terrible. No flavor in either and extremely overpriced for the quality. I am 99% sure the trout was previously frozen and the stuffing was not made any time in the past few days. The greek chicken salad was seriously some crappy chicken thrown on lettuce. The most disappointing part was that the waitstaff was completely oblivious to the fact that we ordered $ 50 worth of food that we didn’t eat and didn’t ask to take with us. I didn’t want to complain because I will never send food back just because I don’t like it. If there’s a problem with it, I will. Otherwise, it’s the waiters’ job to find out why diners are not eating the dishes they have been served. Service in general was slow and servers were inattentive. I thought maybe it was because we were on the patio? We were also quite visible struggling with mosquitos and flies while seated outside. Again, none of the wait staff made any mention or offered to help. I actually had to leave the patio and wait for my husband to get the check outside because I couldn’t bear to be around the bugs any longer and the check was taking so long to arrive. This is the kind of service I might be ok with at, say, an inexpensive chain restaurant, but not for these prices. Will never go back.

This place is a hidden South Tulsa neighborhood gem and a favorite among locals in the know. Try the blackened filet or Pasta Ya Ya, two of my favorites! Michelle, the manager, is top notch and equally as wonderful as the food!

Lemon Thyme Salad(with chicken) — - fabulous. Sometimes they take it off the menu for the winter, so try it now. Garlic potato chips with ranch dip — I saw a woman order this appetizer as her entrée one day… and I thought BRILLIANT. You know you’re going to eat them all and be stuffed anyway. Baked Fudge — Oh yes. Perfect. The reasons I return again and again. Oh, and the bread.

Bistro is always the right place for a quick lunch at the bar or an intimate dinner for two. I’ve also enjoyed a few large gathering events in the back of their restaurant. I’ve enjoyed everything on the menu and if you’ve never tried the Monte Cristo, you need to do it!

Last night the wifey and I went out looking for something to eat in the South– and we couldn’t get in ANYWHERE… Go figure, 7pm, and no where with less than an hour wait… Lo and Behold… BISTROATSEVILLE… We were seated immediately and were greeted within a minute of our seating in a booth. Nice place, quiet, low lights, but good lighting on the tables(something that is a pet peave of mine– dark rooms with no light on the tables to see your feast)… The bruschetta was off the charts good… the food was really really good too… my wife had the Pasta Ya Ya and it had crumbled sausage with nice chunks of chicken with a tasty sauce… the menu said it would be spicy but we did not find that to be so… I ordered a rib eye with blue cheese and I need to say, it was absolutely amazing… The blue cheese was STRONG. just the way I like it! We were so satisfied we mentioned it to the manager, and we will definitely return… Great food!

Food is pretty good. Dinner salads, chicken avocado club sandwich, pasta ya ya(spicy chicken pasta with Alfredo– like sauce), and chicken piccata(my personal favorite) are all strong entrée choices. Would avoid the grilled/oven roasted quail special(had tonight) — overdone, BBQ sauce didn’t do much for flavor; house potatoes were nothing special, burnt to a crisp. Stick with the regular menu. Finally the reviews lamenting speed of service are accurate: in my dozen visits or so, it’s always been hit or miss.

Always consistently great! Hidden gem as they say. It gets busy and sometimes there is wait but you can eat in the bar. Prices reasonable and great service. House and Caesar salads were good and the Chicken Picatta was excellent and enough to split. You have to help the young hostess’s sometimes but everyone is top notch!

I’ve been going to The Bistro for many years, mostly business lunches or «lunch with the girls». The food remains consistently good, but in the past three years, the service has become ridiculously, agonizingly, excruciatingly slow! My most recent experience was a business lunch. Our waiter, while very friendly, disappeared immediately after he poured our tea and water. After about a fifteen minute absence we flagged down another server and begged him not for our waiter but for some food! Bread, crackers, anything! We were starving and still hadn’t been able to order! The server we flagged down happily brought us some bread, and then our waiter made a second appearance. He flitted around from table to table in his section, handing out bills, picking up credit cards, etc. and ignored us. He happened back by to pick up more credit cards from other tables and gave us a cursory glance, asking if we had made a decision. We said yes, and he proceeded to walk away, saying he’d «be right back». After another absence of several minutes, he did return to take our order. And then we waited. And waited. And waited some more. Finally after we had been seated for more than forty-five minutes, our food arrived — but not before he delivered a lecture about how delicious the trout was and that it takes 14 minutes to prepare, blah, blah, blah. Just bring me the fish already! The food was good, but certainly not worth this kind of wait. After our meal was delivered. He pulled the disappearing act again. When he finally did bring the bill, he more than happily remained visible while a credit card was handed over. It is not just this one experience, but the cumulative effect of many visits over the past few years where this scenario is repeated over and over. Service is completely lacking, especially during a lunch hour. Here’s a tip: if we don’t look like wealthy housewives just out to kill an afternoon, i.e., we are visibly signing business papers ON the table at your restaurant, it is more than likely a business lunch and we do have to get back to work at some point, usually within an hour time frame. Thanks.
